It's extremely handy to buses and Supermarket. Lovely outlook over a Lake which drew some interesting birdlife while we were there.

  Booked a 1 bedroom apartment & was given a 2 bedroom 1 over looking the beach & it was absolutely fantastic with the greatest views including Broadbeach & Surfers. Very clean & had all the kitchen facilities you could ask for. Spa & Pool also great. Public transport to Carrara market a must. Staff are the BEST you c - The location couldn't have been better! Located directly across the street from the beach and only 3 blocks from the main drag of shops and restaurants it was the perfect location. The room itself (Ocean View) had 4 terraces overlooking the Ocean and mountain views. The rooms were all very large, clean, updated and well kept. Full kitchen and in unit laundry was great as well! Very pleased with the room and hotel

  Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you... what people say » can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!), main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a perfect litt - The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!

  I enjoyed staying here at the islander backpackers resort, staff were really friendly. Room was clean,had my own bathroom. My daughter absolutely loved it there .
