  I loved my stay at the northern greenhouse. I was warmly greeted in reception when i arrived. I stayed in a clean, spacious 6 bed dorm with a kitchenette, fridge and ensuite. The outdoor seating area was friendly and relaxed without a party atmosphere which is exactly what I was looking for. There was great mix of people, had I known what a positive experience it would be I would still be there now! - Lockers in the rooms with sockets and a shelf to charge devices. Breakfast and WIFI included in the price. Great location, clean, nice relaxed hostel, lots of couches in the communal area, spacious dorm rooms. Very helpful staff. Best hostel I've been in so far!

  My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much! The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure.   Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff who recommended some nice tours. Clean premises and well planned layout with plenty of toilets, showers, kitchens and common areas to relax. Would definitely stay here agai... what people say » n. - We enjoyed our stay at Dreamtime Travellers rest, the guys at the reception were really helpful and they gave us a nice twin room close to the swimming pool, which was super clean and very homy. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great! - I stayed here for one week, the staff are really helpful and friendly, when I arrival cairns, they pick me up from bus station immediately. the kitchen is amazing, you can get any stuff you want. the room is very clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is very soft. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to.

  My mom and I went to Cairns for a week holiday. We hoped to find a buget hotel during our stay. We found and booked this hostel through letsbookhotel.com for the first two nights, and decided that if it was not suitable we will change to another one. There was something fun going on every night such as drinking games, reptile shows, cheap bbqs etc. The people and music is quite loud (which is fun, people are happy), but it gets quiet after midnight.   Nicky, homey, smaller backpacker type of place. I booked a single room and I loved it. Not a party type place. And away from downtown. Best price for a single room. - staff were realy helpful and friendly. Everything was kept clean and the hostel had a good feel to it.The free breakfast was a good way to start the day.
