I was pleasantly surprised by this place.It was very comfortable, friendly and clean. The room actually looked better than in the pictures, that is very rare. We came with a four months old baby, and we felt very welcome. They provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The location was amazing, through the back you walk three minutes into a wild and natural path, straight to the sea. Also a 7 minute walk into town.

The location is excellent; the value was not good, but that's purely because it was Easter when everything is three times normal price. It was a lovely place to stay, nice and quiet and can hear the surf in the morning, and I'd stay there again. The ability to walk to the beach is very convenient with small children. The pool and spa were fantastic. Within walking distance of the main town centre. A very relaxing and convenient location. Great family accommodation. Would definitely stay again. well located short walk to hub of Byron. Common area clean and well kept the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and accomodating a very relaxing place to stay. Very good customer service. I left my expensive shirts in my unit when we vacated. They kept them carefully and sent to me on my request by post. Also very close to shops and restaurants. Loved that I could park the car & forget about it, everywhere was within walking distance. The rooms had everything you needed & more, was very impressed & will visit again :). A great position near the beach and for eating out , also very quite . We had a small issue with tap leaking and they were very fast in having it fixed good customer service. Friendly staff, great location to beach and town, supply of umberellas as it rained nearly tge whole time, massage available on site though didnt get the chance to indulge. The only negative was not having a proper doona on the bed . All in all a very cute , comfortable and relaxing stay at the beach comber !. As we had the accessible unit, it was very hard to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet over the whole room. One of the fridge door baskets was also broken. But these are very minor issues in what was a great stay. There was nothing we didn't like. There is nothing I disliked. The view from the room we were in lol, as it was on the side. Next time I'll book a room that overlooks the pool area or beach. Really there was nothing to complain about. Electric hotplates. Rooms are only serviced weekly which is fine but maybe fresh towels sooner. Though we didnt ask either for them to be replaced had we been staying another night i probably would have enquired about this. We stayed 5 nights and that was stretching the towel friendship. But cant really complain as like i said i didnt enquire about getting fresh ones earlier. I would of liked to have a stove top to cook in the unit. Also it needs some tissues in the room. Nothing really. A suggest is that towel could be changed every other day instead of weekly, just little things but mean a lot at $200 per night. It wasn't long enough. Kitchen utensils just adequate for gourmet in-house cooking. Booking.com advertise this apartment as having either pool or garden views. Our apartment was overlooking the motel next door!. the green tiles in the bathroom - a little outdated. air con going on and off in the night. Choice of tea bags on offer in our room was pretty terrible. I was hoping for room with balcony which I thought I was getting. Big ants in our bathroom. Not sure where they came from but they did have insect spray in our room which was great, and the staff were very helpful but they couldn't find where they were coming from either. There was nothing I didnt like. The cyclonic weather but out of anyones control. Difficult to get baggage and ourselves into unit without getting wet!. Could do with a renovation,vending machine didn't have water or much of a selection of snacks,had to pay to use beach towels. Perfectly comfortable holiday accommodation. Simple but not luxurious. Nothing. Wish there had been a stove. Noisy could be controlled better. Can be a bit noisy at night. kitchen utensils lacking. Take your own sharp knife and teapot!. Nothing. Not getting fresh towels and soap/shampoo every day. They didn't clean our room once during the 6 day stay. Not even new towels or sheets. The constant noise of traffic and lack of view. Being woken at 3.00 in the morning with someone trying to get into their apartment above, do not know how they got access into property, but they did not stop until someone answered which took a long timne with alot of knocking & yelling. Nothing, would have liked a hotplate to heat up in my room. No lift up to the top floor in our section, had to drag the esky up 2 flights of stairs.
