Fantastic, value for money. There were two of us. My friend was visiting from the UK. The villa had a great layout with the bedrooms at one end which we assume was the same with the adjoining villa. We loved the grounds and space between the villas, providing privacy, peace and quiet. The beach and indoor pools were great attractions. Your location was convenient to travel to vineyards, and visit all the touristy highlights. We had a delightful meal at Spinnakers. The young gir.
all reviews » The villas are very clean and comfortable - we stayed in the 3 bedroom 3 bath exec villa and they are surrounded by lovely gardens with grassed areas big enough to play ball, running races etc for the kids. Lots of lovely paths to explore and the kids loved riding their bikes around the streets of the resort. We played tennis on the courts and played in the playground, even had the bouncy castle up! We also enjoyed Spinnakers restaurant at the resort. We stayed initially 7 nights and because we. If you are looking to spend a bit less than some of the other resorts are asking then this is a great place to go. The units are dated but really spacious and clean and the bed in the unit we had was so comfortable. Set in lovely shaded areas with 2 pools ideal for a slightly lower budget. If they update these units they will no doubt be charging a lot more. Great location, just short walk to the beach and a lovely walk into Busselton by the beach. Nicer than a motel room, our villa had an outside area and a kitchen we could prepare meals in. The price was really good ($99 for a couple) and the place was comfortable with good tv, reverse aircon, coffee/tea provided and clean! Nice feel around the resort and very good for some nice walks. Also a heated indoor swimming pool avail although we did not view. The staff were very helpful when catering for a larger group. The 3-bedroom villa was only designed to sleep 6 people, but the staff happily organised 2 extra fold-out beds so we could all stay under the same roof. This saved us purchasing another villa and separating everyone. It made the trip much more more enjoyable and our uni budgets were thankful for it!. We had a fantastic stay at Bayview. Absolutely excellent location, less than a min walk from the beach, we enjoyed jogging in the morning along the beach, you can also cycle if you wish. The beach/ bay are so quaint and utterly relaxing. Yes, it is a dated, but for this price and location, highly recommended. The location was right on the beach although some way out of town. Lovely for walking along the coast line. The on site restaurant had a $20 special on each night and we had the ribs which were great value. The resort had two pools and a tennis court but we did not use these as we were only staying one night. We had a budget room that had all the items you would ever need. Price was very good for the area and amenities. Would be great for a family vacation with all the amenities inc. tennis, pool and games room. A great touch was the fact that I had stayed previously and they left a bottle of red wine for me. Good value for money for our 3 night stay, We had a fantastic, relaxed stay in our beautiful Villa, great comfortable bed and peace and quiet around us. We will stay there again and bring friends. Good atmosphere in the restaurant, the weekday specials for dinner the meals were so good. The location was very good staff were very friendly.We moved from the Studio Villa to the Garden Villa the garden villa was very nice te studio villa is a hotel room not a villa but was a nice room and clean.We would stay there again but in a Garden Villa or a two or three bedroom Villa. It was very clean and friendly place. The beds so comfortable. Four adults, all very happy. The units very quiet. Very family Orientated place, Just a total relaxing place. Last time I stayed in Busselton stayed at Abbey beach. Bayview much better place. I was extremely happy. The self contained units were very private and spacious. The facilities were excellent. The staff afforded us considerable freedom; both in our unit and whilst accessing the communal facilities. My grandson loved the bouncy castle and we all enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The staff member that served us on arrival was lovely, she was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The ducks came right up to our back door in the morning. Lots of things to do for the kids, shame the weather didn't cooperate. We had our own laundry facilities. Easy access to beach. Great outdoor pool for kids, graduating shallow end. Lots of safe pathways for kids to play on through the resort. Large grassed area with bbq's. fantastic indoor game centre. Great open plan villa, lots of space for kids to play. Location was great. Choice of indoor and outdoor pool was brilliant. Close proximity to beach also fab. close to shops, wineries, kids activities. Safe grounds for kids to roam around on their scooters! Great rooms -all had own TV -even kids room. Rooms spacious, tennis court, pool and most important right on the beach. I though it was great value for money. I like location. We had a car, so it was about an hour drive to ALL BEAUTIFUL SITES OF MARGARET RIVER. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. It is a very relaxing resort with roomy villas well spaced over a huge property, It's well positioned on the beach in which you can walk along all day in either direction. We have stayed here many times and will return again soon . Loved the location, just a stroll to the beach. Many restaurants just a short drive away. Enjoyed the ducks waiting at our front door and watching the rabbits scoot around at night. Loved the indoor pool as well as the outdoor. Although the resort was busy, it was still quiet and peaceful. Plenty of trees around the villas made it seem spacious, and sitting outside listening to the birds and watching the ducks was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Pool was very nice, 50m from the beach, quiet, close to town. My folks also stay here - but in the 2 bedroom.. I will stay in that next time as it had a much bigger living area.. and was right in front of the pool ;). As we had 6 ladies who were in Busselton to play golf we didn't want to share beds - the resort obliged with supplying 6 single beds as requested. The meal at the restaurant on Friday night - only $20 for a steak. staff were very helpful and polite. Beautiful surroundings, choice of outdoor or indoor pool, and beach 100 metres away. hot water "hot" very nice. comfortable bed. all good, would stay there again. Location and Gardens are beautiful. Staff were pretty good and as it was cold the heated pool was good. Also that each room either had a balcony or opened up to the gardens. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks. Nothing major but could hear the television and showers at night time from the unit next door. Nothing significant and it stopped at a reasonable time around 10:00pm. Everything was perfect and staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Loved staying here. Could not park directly outside so had to carry gear to car a distance away, not a real drama as no rain. Room was "tired" but to be expected for the great price. The floor was filthy. And taps in the bathroom were leaking. The room while clean and comfortable is certainly due for an upgrade. We stayed in motel accommodation. The furnishings were a bit tired and very dated. There was a problem with a water leak in the corridor and it made the area smell rather bad due to the damp but didn't affect the room at all. The resort needs a bit of maintance the indoor heated pool was not heated very well and the glass windows need cleaning and the roof needs to be repaired there are some small repairs that need to be done in the rooms like curtains need to be hung properly some carpets need replacing in the Studio Villas.The other thing we didn't like was they are not serviced at all. The restaurant looked nice however I would have liked to get coffees... unfortunately there was no indication that such casual usage could have been possible. The doors automatically close into the bathroom, well more like slam, very annoying. The beds are very hard. Nothing. Travellers should be aware that the resort room "special" that we booked fell far below our expectations and that you are probably much better off paying extra and booking a villa style unit. Luckily we were upgraded with a smile. Room smelt like it had had the carpets cleaned, but had been closed up for a while. The outside area of the chalet was a bit grotty and table was too big for the area. all good. As we stayed in the resort room you could hear everything in other rooms like toilet doors, and people talking and vacuming in the hall way early in the morning. Early risers wake the others pretty quickly. Other very similar rooms in other hotels/resorts didn't have this problem, you couldn't hear anything from other rooms. in terms of comfort. everything in the rooms is quite old, even the lamp shades were falling apart. No WiFi in cottage No Foxtel as advertised Gas fire not working first night of stay. Hot water issue first night of stay. Disappointed by restaurant food but could not fault staff. signal on tv wasnt great. Nothing really. A few kms from city center but worth the jaunt in and out!. On arrival we were given keys to the "resort room" which is what we booked thru u. It was terrible. Very small fridge tiny and not working. Shower was tiny. Anyway it felt like a dormitory. We complained and we paid extra for a villa. Told them it shouldn't be advertised as it wasn't really cheap. Regardless it was awful. You really should check out what u advertise as I now will need to be very careful to book thru you again. The lounge suite needs to be replaced. Otherwise, considering the age of the resort, everything looked in good condition. Didn't like that I had to pay retrospect for villa cancellation instead of when booking in on day. Felt Gerry could of been more amenable/ professional. Check-in hours seem to be short (i.e. latest check-in is 7pm/8pm), but guessing that alternative arrangements can be made if you are arriving later or outside of the hours advertised. theres nothing really just wish there was a little more to choose from menu for a vegi,both times had to have vegi curry which is lovely and tasty but like somthing different cause dont eat fish also .but i still would return. A bath in the bathroom would be nice. No access to internet except in lobby or restaurant. The air conditioner was poor and cooling of room was very slow. Rooms were a little dated and could do with renovating, but they were clean, tidy and comfortable none the less. Selection of TV channels with no digital and very limited Foxtel. N/A. No shelter over the bbq area. We had to cook in the rain. The miniture golf was plain. Internet access only available in the reception/Spinikers area. Noisy water heater. Check in time at 15.00 and check out time at 10.00 am .. Not too convenient for family with small children. Didn't want to leave the Resort. The bed a little saggy for my delicate back. No big deal though. On the whole we are very happy with the place and service. But it will be better if WiFi is availabe in the rooms too.
