  Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... what people say » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

  well where do i start straight from making the booking,Tom was on the phone to me within five minutes asking me wether the room i booked was suitable absolute profesional .i told Tom what i was coming over for and he knew i was on the red eye flight and offered me to come straight to motel and drop bags off and he would endeavour about a early che... what people say » ck in .The staff could not help me enough and especialy Tom went over and beyond the call of duty .The motel was very clean and very close to everythi - Very friendly staff who didn't mind being woken at 3am for keys and queries nor did they mind us turning up late for breakfast. Very convenient very clean very comfortable. Shame we didn't get time for pool. Short but very sweet stay.

  very clean and fresh after a long flight, this was my second stay at Traders, I fly from Manila every 6wks with my employment, I am a Seaman. I will now make Traders my regar hotel in Brisbane.   Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over & above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board). Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high & quiet" room which I got. Arrived an hour early & was offered alternative room as opposed to original room booked which wasn't quite ready. ... what people say » Reception staff v efficient & helpful, location was perfect. All in all v pleasant stay, have recommended to others already! - Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. - I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.

  Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The room was large, very clean, the shared bathroom down the hall, which is usually the wo... what people say » rst part of any hostel, was spotless. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

  Lovely apartment almost penthouse feel to it. Had the best balcony with wonderful city views. Got sunset and sunrise. Very clean and big. It's a great location and you can walk into the city in a few minutes. No free WiFi but just down the road is a Wi-Fi hotspot in a park so no real issue.
