Right from the start when I spoke to Noelene on the phone I knew we would be happy with our accommodation. In the last week before our booking, I need to adjust the booking as we had two more children to cater for. The response from T.V. (Noelene) was most helpful. We were delighted with all aspects of T.V. we were comfortable...everything was spotless...the children enjoyed the pool and we were a hop skip and jump from Toowong Shopping Centre. all reviews » The rooms were clean and a good size, the location handy for shops/restaurants and transport (trains and river-cat). There was a generous amount of laundry and dishwasher detergent provided which is rare! The beds comfortable, the linen good quality with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We had a lovely view of the Brisbane city skyline from our balcony. The location is quiet and perfect for families. I'd go again. Being an ex Toowong resident who lives interstate I wanted to visit Brisbane and feel like I had my own home again. The unit was homely and so clean. I loved the exposed brick walls, the French doors and sun streaming in between the Palm Trees. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Was lovely not to be charged extra for parking and Wi Fi. The pool was great and the kids loved the fast Wi-Fi internet. Walking distance to the Toowong train station made our travel plans easier. We are staying again in April 2014 ( this time for 5 nights) Great place to stay!!!!!!. Our large extended family group were booked into adjoining apartments - perfect! The living areas were large and the kitchen and laundry facilities great! Our grandchildren enjoyed the playground, especially the digger in the sandpit, and we were happy to use the barbecue facilities for an informal family reunion. Every staff member was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, albeit not very modern. The pools were wonderful and the location is great - just a short stroll to local shops and restaurants, one of which we enjoyed immensely. The management were extremely helpful and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Helpful information was given to us including booking of maxi taxis. The location was perfect for our group to attend a family wedding at Mt Cootha. jim and annette were really great , we visited last year as well and things had improved. we find the location excellent for visiting our son and his family, going to the rugby shopping and swimming.....great. The studio room was well laid out - able to eat outside if weather is fine. Many car-park bays were away from the buildings limiting early morning departure noise. Having a separate washing up sink. Staff were very helpful even giving us a map of where everything was within walking distance. Good accommodation and facilities which were more than adequate for three adults and three children. There was adequate space for eating, relaxing, etc. and a small private terrace with a table and chairs which provided a very pleasant place for an early cup of tea or glass of wine. The villa's were fully booked, which is a good indicator, you were able to meet our needs with early book in, thanks. Beds were comfy, lots of equipment in the kitchen,. The self-contained unit was just that. It provided everything needed for a sojourn away from home. Liked its closeness to everything, including shops and transport. The spaciousness of the studio was comfortable and clean and the facilities provided were wonderful and being situated close to Toowong Village was a bonus. The location was great, close to shops etc. The 3 BM apartment was very spacious, modern & clean with good supplies & facilities, i.e. dishwasher. We were in a studio apartment and it was very comfortable, the staff we so friendly. .we. really enjoyed our stay. The showerhead needs replacing and the tap-washers need fixing. Nothing at all :). The doors needed propping open for ease of access between the two apartments. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but were clean and well maintained and great value for money!. Not applicable. Parking was a little tight. There was just one uncomfortable pull-out couch in the living area to sit on, no armchairs so relaxing with a good book was a little challenging. The only negative was the couch? very uncomfortable?. We didn't like that the pool wasn't heated as we couldn't use it at this cooler time of year. The main bed needed a thicker mattress protector to cover the springs better. The fan in the bathroom hardly expelled any steam. Would have liked a second toilet. nothing - all great. Toilet/bathroom was a bit smelly. I just shut the door and it was fine. :). Can't think of anything. Nothing really. Nothing. Very noisy fan in the toilet. Stairs when travelling with suitcases. Nothing. lack of utensils and cooking equipment Old broken dryer. 4 fliest of stairs with luggage. Having to leave and go home. the staff upon check-in was rude and unfriendly. Advertised as close to the Wesley Hospital. Stayed for that reason. Adjoining unit held a Bar-B Que on their balcony, stench throughout unit. For the price it was rubbish. Very noisy dirty utensils. Not really clean and is uncomfortable. False advertising.
