The apartment was really beautifully appointed and the ensuite was a treat we don't have at home. Everything worked and the balcony is a really generous size. I was able to check in early as we had dropped the kids off at a concert in the morning which was great after the considerable drive we had had to get there. It was a short walk to Queen Street mall for shopping in the day and to Fortitude Valley for dinner. We had a lovely time.

Great hotel - I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with some friends. It was roomy and very well equipped. The rooftop pool and spa were lovely! Was a short 5 min walk to Queen Street and cost $12 in a taxi to get to The Valley for a night out. We were lucky enough to get a park on the street outside, which is free over the weekend. Everything! The apartment was wonderful, it felt like home. On the 12th floor the views were brilliant. Design of the apartment was great (long corridor with bedrooms and bathrooms off) modern and well thought out design. Thanks Michael, Chloe and Nikki for a great holiday :). I enjoyed my stay at Quattro on Astor, likewise my fellow friends who also stayed. I liked the feel of the place and the comfortable/luxury provided to us as a customer. Facilities where great. Loved the pool and how it's situated on the top floor. Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious. We stayed with 2 friends and enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to share a bathroom. Would stay again - value for money. Staff on reception wonderful. Father and daughter team working when we were there 2nd to 6th April 2013. They were totally accommodating and obliging. The foyer was beautiful upon arrival! The staff were very friendly & efficient!! The rooms were very comfortable with great views of the city. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a map of the city and some information about restaurants to eat at as we don't know the city very well. The only thing was the spa didn't really reach a warm/hot temperature and was quite cold that we couldn't go in. Church bells ringing at 6 am every morning! Lovely to hear but not so early...not your fault Michael. Would have liked apartment serviced at 5 days rather than 7 but other than that everything was great!. I didn't like the hallway (room11) how it had nothing on the walls, I felt that if there was something such as a picture on the wall it would have felt excellent. I didn't like how our television was less then half the size of another tv that was in another friends room at floor 4, although the city view made up for it. In todays climate internet should be free considering the price of the hotel and internet is necessary for bookings, eateries and general information. The noise, could not sleep in the master bedroom for the traffic noise. Staff were aware of the problem but could do nothing about it. Stayed four nights, did not have enough washing liquid provided for kitchen or laundry, also almost ran out of toilet paper. some outside noise can not be controlled by the quattro i feel unless double glazing?. There wasn't anything I didn't like. But a suggestion would be maybe some luggage trolleys kept in the carpark would be good idea. Would save a few trips in the elevator. The only downside was the spa wasn't hot and the bubbles weren't working.That would of made it perfect!!. Hot water was a bit hit and miss. the workmen across the street starting work at 7am on a Sunday. I feel the spa should be hot not cold and there was a very noisy party upstairs. The only thing I didn't like was not booking in for longer than we did. *The hallways were hot. Air con not turned on. *The spa and sauna were not operating properly. No one to report it to. *No instructions of air conditions in rooms. *No dining table in the actual apartment only on balcony. cold pool. sofa not comfortable. WiFi had issues which the staff rectified to a point. Checking in on weekends is problematic as Reception only works till 12 and you have to phone to arrange access. You needto have a mobile phone as there is no handpiece. road noise. We were on the 4th floor very noisy outside due to traffic. Unclean bathroom in need of good scrub. Dirty hallway wall in the room and the carpet stained along with the couch. Cuts also to a chair would only class this hotel 3 stars. had a bit of a mix up with the billing. Noise of aircondition in bedroom. Parking cost extra. If you're paying over $1000 to stay you shouldn't have to pay extra for a park. The mattress also really hurt my back. Nothing. Carpets could do with a clean and the place need a spring clean. Beds were hard. Leaving the underground car park was a little bit of a nuisance with the outside cars parking on the street. Made it difficult to drive out of the garage and get around the parked cars. Received a message earlier in the day saying the reception closes at 12pm I found this very weird as one it's a Saturday and check in is always 2pm. It was quite dodgy the instructions and the fact that all the envelopes were in a safe with everyone's names on it. Could get onto the wrong hands. Staff service would of been a lot better. Even if it was only till 3pm. the rooms are getting a bit grubby, marks on the walls and carpets etc. A bit noisy. Cleanliness. the spa wasnt as expected. A bit of noise from street activity in the mornings. Only problems were keeping kids asleep in a bright room (no curtains...just blinds) and noise at night coming from neighbours outside...but I realise that's just one of those things that can't be helped. noisy people in apartment above (602), and the pool /spa closes too early. Bathroom floors need a good clean and the bedroom windows should be double glazed as the rooms were subject to quite noticable outside noise at night.
