The room was comfortable and dinner was one of the best I've had from a motel restaurant. The best country motel I have stayed at in a very, very long time.

  The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed. The Air con was new and worked brilliantly.   Superb value for money. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great location - very easy to find from the highway which is so important at the end of a day of traveling. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet.   A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. I would unreservedly recommend Petersons Winery at Armidale. - Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.
