We've stayed there a few times - some for work and some personal. We have enjoyed the facilities/wining and dining and always found staff more than helpful. We have spent time in the pool which is welcoming and clean. LOVE the new block and especially the art in the new block. I purchased the "Lasseters Collection" art book. -

The place is exceeding all expectations, I wish I could rate it as "20". Everything is very-well thought, people are not only friendly but really caring and take the guests problems as their own even if they are not related to hostel stay (e.g. finding a doctor). The location is superb, particularly given that I was told not to walk even a block after 6pm on my own. Everything is within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large. They had both a good value restaurant and a separate bar/restaurant. -

The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble.
They provide a well-equipped kitchen for the use of guests, as well as a laundry and line for drying clothes. There is a small but pristine pool.
We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comf
