This is the best bed and breakfast on the island! Gaston, the owner, is a wonderful host and comes to greet you at the door with his dog Griffin. Before arriving, he sends you a confirmation e-mail with directions to the property, if you are renting a car, or offering to pick you up from the airport if you are not. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we have no complaints, just compliments. This B&B does not disappoint! We stayed in room #4, which was right by the pool and the scenic view.

If you are looking to be right in the center of everything -- this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a very peaceful retreat from all the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go! We were on our honeymoon, so it was the perfect love nest :) We stayed in room #5 with a beautiful open patio -- very pri. An excellent bed and breakfast with a cosy layout, comfortable rooms and nice pool and lounge area. Friendly staff and owner. Great breakfast at poolside. Very good value for money especially if you want to avoid the high priced commercial hotel zone while being a 10 minute drive from major attractions, beach areas and walking distance to city centre. We would describe the Wonders Hotel as an oasis of tranquility in the town. Sitting on the terrace enjoying Gaston's lavish breakfast whilst watching the butterflies and humming birds was sheer bliss. As other reviewers have stated, Gaston is a source of knowledge for sites to see on the island - would definitely go again. Gaston figured out what a tourist wants and needs in a hotel in Aruba. Great attention, big and tidy hotel room, free and fast wi-fi access, swimming pool and shuttle service for a fair price. Besides, it is located just 8 minutes by walking from the city centre. I hope to find a room next time in there!. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and bus stop. Gaston the owner was on hand most all the time to answer questions and help with your needs. I will definitely stay at Wonders on my next visit to Aruba. Excellent atmosphere, friendly and helpful, relaxing environment, everything about the place was wonderful, from when you first arrive till you leave, made most welcome, nothing is a problem for the owner and his staff. We stayed here one night as our timeshare week ran out. We loved it more than the timeshare on the beach. The decor and the staff were unbeatable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Absolutely wonderful staff! The hotel is an oasis in the middle of a neighborhood. A simple 1-mile walk will have you at downtown shopping for a much reduced price than other hotel stays in the area. Everything: owners Freddie and Gaston and their staff (especially Marika an friend, Luis) were absolutely lovely. Their graciousness, sense of humor, and generosity made my stay a pleasure!. Renaissance) in order to book many of your excursions (parasailing, sunset cruise, jeep safari etc.) so be sure to do your research in advance. Off the beaten path location. Not appealing but safe to walk to the city centre (10 min walk). Nothing. That we didn't stay longer. I would not change anything about this great hotel. N/A. could have used a phone in the lounge to call taxi's late at night. Otherwise a great stay and place. barking dogs from the surrounding homes, they barked every night and very early in the morning. Disturbed our sleep every day we were there. The neighborhood wasn't appealing, but i think it was still safe. That I had to leave !!!. The hotel is a bit far from the city center (8 min) and the beaches even if the owners provide guests with a shuttle from the airport and to the beaches. It wasn't completely clean and the location is not so close to the city center about 25 min walk. N/A. Nothing- it is a pefect retreat. Location is awful. I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Internet connection in the room was not good. I could not connect my cell or Ipad to the wifi. I had to go out the the main lobby area for good reception. Far from main town.
