We LOVED this hotel. Its like an oasis of luxury at a good price. Room is spacious and comfortable, with heat in both the room and bathroom. Bathroom is large and spotless. Service is also great.
Breakfast buffet is good.
Location could not be better, 30secs to the main street of El Calafate. -

This is an excellent 4 star hotel.The location is central to everything yet fairly quiet. Checkin/checkout were very quick, bellman always around and helpful.The breakfast was very good by argentine standards. This property is obviously run by a profesional hotelier. Very helpful staff and a warm and cozy place to stay! They had a large common area to meet & eat breakfast (which was included in the room rate). They gave us great restaurant recommendations and were really helpful in booking an excursion to the glacier. -

Liked a big lounge where we could see the Torres Del Paine National park pretty well. Room was also nice, clean, had a big window. We had a superior room as it was advised in the review. It was right, without the view from superior room it is not worth it.

We paid around £100 per night but we were not disappointed, the spa was great after a day on the glacier and the massages are quite reasonable compared to London prices. The food was great and the room was large and spacious. The view of the lake was lovely and the shuttle into and out of town was frequent. -

We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. Hotel has a very nice view and is away from the noise of the town, something that is appreciated when you come back very tired from the excursions and just want a deep sleep. -

Very good standard of hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast to fill you up ahead of a day's hiking. The hotel provides lunchboxes for hiking, one is enough for two people. Location is excellent halfway between two main trailheads, within five mins walk of most restaurants.
