Excellent locaton, you can see the spray of the falls from the hotel and it was litterally seconds to walk to the path for the falls. We were short on time and found this the perfect place to stay. Big luxurious bed, with a tv with lots of channels, some of which are in english. Great range of eating options available, from the more upmarket restaurant to casual dining in the bar - we had a delicious meal and well made cocktails on the deck. Nice toiletries supplied and an abundance of towels.
all reviews » We liked the fact that the Iguazu Sheraton is the only hotel located within the boundaries of Iguazu Falls National Park. If you're staying just 1 night for Iguazu, then being within the park itself basically gives you 2 days. Fly in one morning, fly out the next evening. Very nice, clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. Although the room was a little pricy, I would still spring for the extra cost of getting a room with a view of the falls. If your "included breakfast" is important to you,. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You can be at the lower or the upper trails an hour before the tourists who come in through the main entrance (early morning). Being alone in the centre of the park, standing alone next to the long waterfall line is priceless. The pool is not bad. Cuisine (a la carte) is acceptable. Remember - do not leave anything on balconies - monkeys will take anything from there. Anyway it is fun to watch them playing next to your room. Very close to the airport (15 . Location, location, location. You are in the park, and can be standing above the falls in 5 minutes. And from your room (or the bar, if your room is on the other side) you can see the falls (in the distance) and hear the roar. The pool is nice; tropical birds will fly down and try to eat your crackers while you are swimming (which is fun to watch). Book it for a night, get in, spend a day and a half in the park, and head out. The location of the hotel is perfect and the view from the hotel is stunning as well. The service is very good, quietness, peacefullness and the restaurant is really good. Definitely recommend this hotel. It is just inside the park and very close from the airport. Very convenient. To see and to hear Iguazu Falls from our windows. We were not in need to wait for ticket to national park. Directly from the hotell we took 20-25 min walk to Estacion Garganta del Diablo and were the only two people on view platform (before the first train). Loved the great access to the park and the pool and spa area are great. Also we received great advise from their in house tour guide for boat trips and the best time to visit each part of the falls. I would stay here again, mostly for the access to the park. We stayed two nights in The hotel. We booked a double room with view on the falls! We also hired a guide from Macuco tours (you can arrange everything in the hotel or by e-mail). Very friendly staf. The location in the Iguazu National Park is just perfect!!. Excellent location, the view from my room was incredible, even for the low hanging clouds and rain at the time of my stay. Next time I visit I'm bringing my whole family and hoping that the weather stays nice!!!. Staff was very nice and helpful. The location was a critical factor when booking this hotel We had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Staff were very helpful. For the price you're paying, you come to expect this. You're probably paying a higher price for the room, being that you're staying within the park itself, but, you still have to pay the park entrance fee to get to the hotel. Other than that, no complaints. A bit old building, but still worth spending extra money as the vicinity to the Waterfalls is an incredible advantage. I know we are in the jungle, but our room was still rather hot and humid. Seemed like the AC in the halls worked much better. Also very expensive, and the dinner was not great - and it's the only restaurant around. Although, somebody did rock a harp show (yes, harp) and good b-fast buffet. Very expensive considering the rest of the city, and wifi not included (pay US$15 extra). They have total disregard for simple things that make a big difference. Hotel wants to save energy but keeps door wide open in lobby bar letting out A/C and letting in mosquitoes. I was not to impressed with the slow service and food served at the snack bar. a bit run-down. the room was not as comfortable as other Sheraton hotels we have stayed at. Used the computer but couldn't 't delete a document I had opened from my email. The door key needed to be reset when we arrived and really didn't work very well. Our room was a bit dated with a damp patch and some fungus on the wall adjacent to the toilet. The very small bathrooms. only thing is when you are booking it doesn't mention that we have to pay to get into the park and some guys starts to speak Spanish to you which we didn't understand, i think it should be inform whilst making booking. I didn´t like the clean of the bedroon and any people the hotel reception. A bit overpriced but they are the only hotel in the park. Lack of free wi-fi-tell me why a budget hostel can do this but the Sheraton can't. Horrible run down architecture which is an insult to the beauty of the nature park. Small, ordinary rooms and plain, unattractive common facilities. Construction work and tired bedroom decor. terrible wi-fi (that costs money), the prices. This is good hotel. But this is not a five star hotel of sheraton level. Sheraton takes a holdback from my creditcard without notice and than they completly messed up with payback ! it cost me 200€ at the telefon to fix this problem !!!. FOOD. There were several prblems with the electricity, the elevators didnt work most of the time and we had to shower in the dark, we got a twin room instead of a double bed (and we clearly stated we were on our honey moon.. )the staff didn't seem to care at all.. on top of it all we asked for a room with view to the falls and got a room with no view.. They did send a cake for my husband's birthday celebration but it was too little too late.. We will NEVER stay there again!!. Too old and has not had a refurbishment in years. Needs painting. Perhaps, it hasn´t had one since it was built. Rooms are extremely small, although they have balconies. Except for the location and view - this 5 star pretend to be con hotel should be downgraded - it is a disgrace to other 5 star graded hotels. The whole place needs a facelifting.

Due to the hotel's unique location inside the National Iguazu Park, guests must pay an entrance fee for the park before arriving in the hotel. This entrance fee is not included in the hotel room rate and it has to be paid in cash in Argentine Pesos. Please note that the outdoor swimming pool will remain closed from June 1st to June 20th, due to renovations. Please note, at check-in, guests must provide the credit card used to make the reservation.
