  This is hostel/hotel, but with the hotel room you wouldn't feel like you were in a hostel. Hotel rooms are all en suite and very spacious and clean with aircon and the best hot powerful shower! Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  Delicious breakfast, nice shower, kind people, well localized. It is really near from San Telmo's fair on sundays which is so cute. There are bus stops and subway stations about 4 blocks from there. You can get to many of the most visited points of BsAs in a 10/15 min walk. - Hotel was great for the San Telmo en Centro areas!   It was my second staying in this hostel, and I had a chance to compare it with some other hostels after my first staying. I must say, that it's a really great place to live, and it's even better than most of the 2-3* hotels in Baires. Excellent lounge, nice furniture and decorating, very kind people who speak good English, perfect location and sec... what people say » urity, and, what was really important for me, very high level of cleanness in every part of hostel. As I think, the only reason why it's not a 'hotel' - The hostal is an old colonial building. It has original features and large shuttered windows, it is beautiful and is walking distance to the antiques market, bars and main areas while feeling vey local and not overly touristy. The owners and the people that worked there were friendly and accomodating especially Pablo and even the surly but caring Muigel. There was another very nice man there but I didn't get his name.

In contrast to another comment on this website, everything (incl. sauna) was working, the food was excellent, the breakfast was perfect, staff was helpfull, service minded, experienced and professional yet superfriendly.
