Everything was excellent. Breakfast better than most. Staff a cut above. New, everything worked. Everything in first rate condition. Good size room. Excellent tv, for those that care. Large comfy public areas. Fast computer. Wifi ok. Bar, communal room where you can meet some people, nice showers. Friendly lovely vibe. Close to start of fabulous walks. all reviews » I liked the big central room with the mezzanine very chill :-) Person at reception are kind and helpful when you ask for something. Laundry service is cheap and very efficient. Prices for rooms are very low and they don't lie on prices like some hostels. Internet is slow but it's not their fault, they have internet by satellite so it can't be fast... fairly comfy clean beds & nice co-travellers in our dormitory; it's budget accommodation but probably most suited for young single travellers; solo guys sat around common dining area seemed like they were on lookout for the company. Clean kitchen, clean shower, nice dining space, good size locker, and friendly staffs. The room itself was clean, comfy and spacious. Staff are helpful. nothing to dislike. Kitchen poorly equipped. Poor kitchen facilities. The wifi didnt work Very bad smelling in the bathroom. They charge 30% more than the amount listed on letsbookhotel.com. The kitchen is the tinyest kitchen I found in my travel. It's actually done to buy food at Rancho Grande restaurant. It lacks a lot of equipment and you have to ask for everything at the reception. Sometimes, it's very boring. Plus, all the stuff already available for you in the kitchen are very old and unusable. Kitchen is very dirty all the time and everybody is just going crazy even in the low season... I can't imagine what it is in high season. overall quite crowdy & noisy, tiny dirty kitchen with hardly any utensils to prepare meal; impossible to use wifi as signal very weak, presumably due to number of people. 1. They charge for everything: breakfast, storage, and computer use. 2. Staffs don't know how to cancel credit card charge. Very noisy, constant door slamming is echoed by the long, tiled corridors. A busy, young, backpacker vibe which is great if that is what you're after but not so great if you don't want to be woken up at 3am. Its true- the kitchen is pretty dirty, has lots of flies and small, considering the large size of the hostel.
