The lady who works the front desk was extremely kind and patient with our elementary ability to communicate in Spanish. We really liked how, given our interest in learning the language, she took the time to teach us phrases before venturing out for a hike, eating breakfast, and when checking in. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, as was the entire hosteria. There is a very nice kitchen, available to all guests, in a separate building, which contains couches, a tv, tables/chairs, refrige.
