The location is good, just 3 blocks to the subway line and close to different famous places in Buenos Aires, like Casa Rosado, Puerto Madero, Etc.   This is hostel/hotel, but with the hotel room you wouldn't feel like you were in a hostel. Hotel rooms are all en suite and very spacious and clean with aircon and the best hot powerful shower! Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  The hostel is in Montserrat, a central area of BA. Not the best area of the city, but a central one (15-20 min walking from the Obelisco), generally safe and quite close to a SUBTE station. Two supermarkets just around the corner. The guys who have the hostel are very polite and helped me for everything. Although I was speaking with them in spanis... what people say » h I think that they speak english fairly well. Nice breakfast, big kitchen and a nice yard. Big lockers in the rooms, comfortable beds, clean place. N - Great atmosphere and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome

  I stayed at V&S for about 3 weeks while taking a Spanish course. The hostel is great. The staff is friendly (and fluent in English), the rooms and bathrooms are clean, the beds are comfortable enough and the location is splendid. Decent WiFi as well. I would recommend this hostel to anyone! - I needed to be near the port to get my motorcycle ... what people say » and it was a very good location. I was very clean and inexpensive. Getting around from here was easy.
