Two aspects are exceptional in this hotel: the position in the center of Buenos Aires and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The position close to the obelisk makes lots of spots reachable by walking, all the subway lines quite close, and the view from the panoramic window on the very large 9 de Julio quite impressive, still with little noise. The staff has helped us in lots of ways: from keeping part of our baggage while we were traveling to the north, to printing our boarding pass,.
all reviews » The Hotel:The staff at nh Tango were all extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable about Buenos Aires (transport, landmarks, etc) The breakfast was exceptional in its variety and flavour. Room was very quiet Service, when requested, was prompt. The city of Buenos Aires:We loved the Tango culture of ba and thoroughly enjoyed 'El Querandi' and street tango in La Boca (Caminito) Recoleta Cemetery, Malba contemporary art museum, Bellas Artes museum and the flower sculpture were also among the hig. it is my third stay at the hotel, if I were to return to Buenos Aires, I would stay at NH Tango for the forth time. The location is so central with a metro station behind and all the bus stops in front of the hotel, ideal if you want to use public transport. The wonderful opera building is just the next building along. Breakfast selection although not very varied is of escellent quality. Staff do their best to be of uttermost help. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. hotel's location is simply wonderful - within walking distance to majör sites plus there is a big bus hub right in front, the opera building is next door, cannot get any better. first impressions are everything - upon my arrival in Buenos Aires I was greeted by the friendliest staff . the rooms are spacious and very clean the breakfast is simply wonderful had a very happy stay. it is my second stay at NH Tango and I have enjoyed it as much as my first. The entrance of the hotel is very close to a large tango theather, crowded in the evenings. The city of Buenos Aires: We were very disappointed with the litter in the streets of ba and the state of the pavements in the city centre: they were either under construction or in a state of dereliction. They were also a safety hazard. This does not leave a good impression on visitors from overseas (in our case, Melbourne, Australia) of a city which otherwise has a lot to offer. Nothing. Room was rather small, but otherwise OK. It was not totally soundproof as advertised , however the street noise was not such a bother on the higher floors.We found the breakfast good but monotonous over 4 days. Nothing to complain about. No proper bar service. Walls could be more soundproof. interior design. - too informal - lack support for tourists - weak breakfast. Small thing - breakfast buffet was very nice, however the tables were not cleaned and cups for coffee were constantly missing. When I book online it was one price, when I did check in it was another price.
