We got a very good deal on letsbookhotel.com for a good size twin room. Indeed, as others wrote in here, the noise from the street can be a bit disturbing specially on your first night but you get used to it. Location in Palermo is quite good (a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and shops in the area) and the metro station is just two blocks away. Breakfast was quite good, actually the best choice of food during our stay in Argentina!.

Helpful and friendly staff, good sized rooms that were well-appointed (much better than the standard for Buenos Aires). Extremely close to transport links around the city (underground and bus). Well located for restaurants, shopping and tourist sites, as well as being in a reasonably safe part of town. The location of the hotel was perfect, it was close to everything and there is easy access to public transportation. There is a lot to do in Palermo. Breakfast room may get a bit too packed at peak times. Some street noise, but we slept okay. The air in the hotel rooms is a bit stuffy, there is a winodw to a balcony and aico though. Would have been nice if there was a bar in the hotel (though there are plenty close by so it did not matter a whole lot). The wifi connection in my room was not very good so I had to make some business calls in the lobby. The ac wasn't cooling enough, and the room service did the minimal required of them, but other than that I was very happy with the hotel. The district of Palermo is very large and, fortunately, the hotel is in a better part of Palermo but, in general, it is not a district which is particularly attractive - lots of litter, broken pavements and graffiti. Ba generally, even in the centre, is a very dirty place, very noisy and quite a lot of street crime. We saw one attempted mugging outside the Teatro Colon on a Sunday morning and we had a credit card stolen by a pickpocket on the underground. All was OK. I loved it all!. The windows didn't block street noise that well. Wifi was a bit flaky in the bed room. Ask for rooms on the upper floors. We stayed at the first floor on the streetcorner and there was streetnoice the whole night long. The minibar bill did not match with our consumptions. To avoid discussions : check your minibar stock when you check in!!. Not the cheapest place, but if you want a quality place this is a good one. Jacuzzi didn't work. Bathrooms very small for such large rooms and lack of concierge facilities. Try to get a room away from the noisy road outside. Soundproofing was good but terrace too noisy. the room is nice, the bath could be renovated the breakfast is good, the team doesn't support the guest through the meal. nothing. Breakfast consisted of cold meats, pastries and fruit. Even though it was ample, i would have liked a hot breakfast over and above egg. Bathrooms are very small compared to the room size. There is no in house restaurant/food other than breakfast so you have to go out. The good cable channels are mainly in spanish with no way to change to english option because the system is controlled centrally. at times you had a bit of a sewer smell in bathrooms. seating in breakfast area. air conditioning weak in upper floors. - Poor breakfast servicing (restock of food stopped half an hour before closing time, not enough juice for every guest). - terrible coffee for breakfast. nothing. The sockets in the rooms did not work The breakfast area was too small on the weekend when it was busy. The could indicate that currency exchange should be made downtown & bill paid cash in order to pay 40% less!. Lighting in room was a bit too brightj. That vat was not included in the price I thought I was paying, unlike other the other hotels booked in Argentina. noise of the street. Rooms are too noisy. As it is on the corner of two busy streets of Palermo. I did not sleep well due to car noises. Breakfast area is small. You need to share the big tables with people that you don't know. Internet connection. The noise in the rooms is tremendous.
