The staff was very helpful and the hotel was designed to cause one to enjoy the special feeling of Maui
The pool re construction site was a distraction to a beautiful place.
the hotel is fantastic, the beach is awesome, our room was beautiful
a little too expensive, not many restaurants or shopping facilities or anything to see nearby. you have to rent a car or catch a cab to go to town
Variety of pools suited all ages. Children of all ages were well catered for and hence adults were able to enjoy the location and amenities and relax, I especially loved my visits to the adults only pool. Our room was fantastic, the beds exceptionally comfortable. The beach was beautiful and I loved having breakfast in the Grand dining room.
Arrived at 1pm and had to wait in a queue for 45 minutes to check in as there were only 2 staff in and one was dealing with a customer issue. Not an ideal first impression and made worse by having 3 tired children with us. They have ice buckets in the rooms but no wine glasses and had to ask for a bottle opener to open a beer.
Everyone is exceptionally friendly
We are partially handicaped and it is a long way from room to pool
Great family place because of the beach and water slides. In fact, it's the only hotel in Wailea that have such a big pool area with various entertainment for kids. That makes it worth it to stay there.
They have a band system where you get a different color band each day to be able to use the pool facilities. You have to stand in line at the pool every morning to get this bracelet. For $700 a night, you would think they can deliver it to your room? No. Extremely inconvenient. I should not be wasting my vacation time like that.
