Everything was Perfect. The location, the price, the breakfast and of course the pool. We had a very nice time, we went skiing for the day 10 miles away and then got back to the hotel and was able to walk to the bar and have a drink and then to dinner. Everything you need is very close. Philly Cheese steaks at the pizza place next store were great. Location was great for where we were going. Front Desk staff was very nice, Dining was great and convenient. When informed front desk of the problem we had the manager was apologetic and gave me his card to call him when we return in may and said he would personally take care of us. Awesome customer service I will return.
όλα τα σχόλια » The staff was very helpful and kind. Room was fairly comfortable and clean. Large bathroom. Sarah's Cafe was convenient and had good food. Did not use pool or bar, so cannot comment on those. Although it is downtown, we didn't notice any street noise. Great value for the money. Location very close to Main Street of Stroudsburg, PA. Professional receptionists, historic building. Close to several good beer bars and restaurants, so much better than a motel. Bushkill falls, Delaware water reservation gap and great hiking trails only 10-20 mls away. We had a very nice stay at the hotel. I was surprised how nice the hotel was once we got inside. The location for us was great because we do not ski so just enjoying the shops and the local areas was very nice. The food at the on site restaurants was also very good. Second stay there - the hotel is a little old but comfortable and priced well. Location is great for visiting the main street and shops and the surrounding restaurants are great. Eateries in hotel are very good and the pool and hot tub are a welcome treat. Pretty much everything; the price was GREAT, the location was nice; quaint downtown in a mountain town; my three year old kept saying how great he thought it was. Ha ha... The pool/hot tub were clean. Room was clean. I cannot complain about much. Clean rooms, edible food nearby,spacious bathroom, clean smelling sheets,beds and towels. Coffee and bagels included in the price. Very good value for an overnite skiing trip when your expenses threaten to mount up out of control. My husband and I went to go see a band at the Sherman theater. The Pocono Inn was a block away from the Sherman theater, with plenty of places to eat. The facility was clean the staff was nice 4 out of 5 stars. The convenience,the comfort & quiet & the closeness to so many places and events to share and enjoy. Enjoyed my stay would definitely return again. The indoor pool's water was warm on a cold day outside which was great. The hottub was very nice and warm. The pool was also very clean which was great. Great staff, very comfortable bed, great location and ammenities; Definetely will be back!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality. Comfortable, spacious room. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel. It was closed to Mt. Airy Casino and The Crossings. Comfortable beds and room was very clean. Staff was excellent- extremely helpful and very polite. It was in the center of town and had a quite a few resturants and bars within walking distance. You had a restaurant on the property so that we did not have to go to eat dinner. It is right in the heart of town and very close to many restaurants and pubs. Staff was great, Rooms were good Location was just right I would return. Rachel at the front desk is amazing! Inexpensive, nice staff. The location. Not much!. Having to leave. Blankets on both beds had burn holes on them, which we didn't notice until we pulled the blankets back. Drawer in night stand needed to be wiped out. Clock was not plugged in and it had sticky stuff on the snooze button. Tv remote only worked half the time with tv. Room window faced another part of building which had garbage on rooftop, so we left drapes closed. It is an older building, which probably explains the slanted floors. The breakfast room. But the complimentary breakfast was okay and for those who want more, an excellent breakfast is served right next door. Beds could use an upgrade before next summer season. Not a fan of floral print on bedspreads; truth be told; but I say change nothing else!. Very minor detail . Not even that I didn't like it, i neede someone to tell me that it is outdated.I didn't know you have to have it going for about 1.5 hours before any heat begins to come out on the right end of the grid. Had'nt it been for the coldest day o the year, I wouldn't have picked up on it. Again, the hotel updates, the prices go up. I'd rather sleep under 2 blankets. Renovations were going on and that took away from the decorum and breakfast was too far away & assortments for breakfast could have been more on the healthier side,like fresh fruit,leaner cereals.,etc,etc. The breakfast included had bagels, juice and sugary cereal - This area could be improved - maybe even charge people a few dollars for something a little more healthful. My remote didn't work for the tv. The faucet in the shower water in the shower shoot out everywhere when you turn on the water. Only one elevator and it was extremely slow. Hallway on 4th floor had a funny odor. The room was like 90 degree's we tried to get it cooled down but it didnt work...so we went out and for the most part it was a nice place for what you pay for. The staff really was very nice! The parking was not the best. But again you get what you pay for. In general the hotel good use a little updating. Breakfast should be moved out of the basement. AC could have been colder. nothing. I have no complaints. An older building but well maintained and good value. Break-fast not worth the name. The hallways smelled like old people. Refrigerator was not available in room. There was nothing wrong!. Some of the room ammenities can be upgraded. Continental Breakfast. The bed was dirty. There was dirt under the mattress cover and even when we left the sheets off the bed so the cleaning person could see it, it was not cleaned. The wall paper was old and stained. There was only ice on one floor. No mini fridge. Tv remote didn't work. The rooms are dated and the floors are noticeably slanted. The bathtub is a hazard -- it is sunk into the floor and contains no safety grab bars (even though I am young and generally do not need a grab bar - this shower/tub combo requires one) -very odd design. Poor maintenance, the window did not closed completely (fortunaltely it was early October and I was very tired). Breakfast just to fill de gap. no fan in bathroom, ceiling tiles appear to be falling down, carpets dirty, loud air system and laundry room obviously overhead of room 426. Room next door partied all night, hard beds, old tv with poor picture . Noone was at the front desk for about 15 mins. during check in. Noone was at the desk at 12:30 pm. We had to make two trips to the front desk to ask if someone who could open the pool. That was suppose to be open at 10 am. At this time it was 10:20. My bed oviously wasn't changed. It had a beer bottle cap in it and a plastic cap from some type of pefume bottle under the sheets. The beds are very old and my shower curtain had mold and mildew on it. The staff was rude and the linens were not very clean. The room ac worked very hard to keep the room cool. The refrigerator we requested didn't work at all and was not in the room when we got there. There were additional costs for the room safe not included in the room charge. When questioned we were told we should have read the fine print when we checked in. The breakfast included bagels cold cereal orange juice and coffee or tea. Not a stay to remember!. Room was old and dirty! Exhaust fan didn't work. Carpet had cigarette burns in it. Ceiling tiles dirty and dirty. Bed became undone too easily. Hair in bath tub.
