Superb location in Waikiki. literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. Paid parking nearby if needed and free parking if you can find it within a few blocks.

I stayed 5 nights at the hostel and it was great! Roommates are from different places of the world and most of them are very friendly and I made a lot of friends there. It was October and not so noisy as I expected in the night, which was good, and it was fairly convenient and economic for a backpacker to stay. Mostly importantly, the location was extremely good and it was just a couple of minutes to the beach.

We liked the price and that the rooms were spacious. We loved having two balconies and that the room had dishes and a kitchen if we wanted to cook. The location was close to the strip and trolley stop right in front of the door. There was also a convenient ABC in the lobby. This was an older hotel but everything seemed to be in operating
condition such as the pool, etc. Our room met our expectations and most
important these days, it was clean. Not a given anymore. The staff was
very helpful and competent. No complaints about anything.

Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with
the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out
each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value
for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other
places we checked out. Staff were friendly, the hotel is good value f

Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable. Location was within easy walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Kitchenette was also very handy allowing a night at home cooking.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room making clunking sounds when turned off and I was all prepared to demand a new room, however, after reporting it to the front desk it was fixed by maintenance by the time I returned in the afternoon. Considering the price of other hotels in the area it was good

Staff were really friendly and got an upgrade on our room which was nice. Room was massive and had a bit to sit outside although it was just overlooking the street outside. Good watermelon water at reception on a hot day! Close enough to the beach without paying beachfront prices.

Location great, and the restaurants and shops on the ground floor were a plus - the Creme Pot is charming and convenient for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating. Great view of the city from upper floors. -

Stayed here for 1 night just to sleep after a late night flight in before moving onto the beach front. Staff were friendly and offered us a free upgrade. Room was very clean though dated. Although away from the beach it is really only a few minutes away and you can still see the ocean. Great for travelling on a budget in Honolulu. -

The room was of good size and the view was nice. There is LAN internet in the room with high speed. Also there is a cafe and a shop right in the building, which is very handy.

Uncle Billy's has character! Lovely central garden and great view of
it and the bay from the breakfast area. I love the papayas at breakfast
time. Very pretty lounge. The free hibiscus blossoms are a nice touch.

Great breakfast with lots of fresh fruit - serve yourself. Close to airport & convenient to everything in Hilo. Room was comfortable & clean. Staff was friendly and view from room was beautiful - nice garden & ocean view It is an older place - not modern but good value for the price

I was very pleased with this motel. The rooms were clean [very
important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were
multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices.
Nice view of the Hawaiian mountains. The wifi was also very acceptable.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Its location to Whalers Village and the beach are perfect. Our view of the ocean and the golf course were great and we had a five minute walk to the beach cabana where they had beach back rests and towels free to use for the hotel guests. The location cannot be beat close to the beaches market and shops. It was like living in a botanical garden beautiful plants flowers and amazing pool. Walking down the pathway from the lobby to the beach was like walking thru a sweet little jungle ... I loved it! The Kona Islander Inn is like a gem in the middle of town. I will stay there again a

The room quality ranges from 1 star to 5 stars, each with increasing price. It would be helpful if this were advertised on letsbookhotel.com. Luckily the hotel had a better room available than the one star unit we first saw.
