We stayed here after a coast trip for business it was fabulous. Great lication right in the marina, excellent staff and service. My son enjoyed the balcony and breezeway dining, simply beautiful and centrally located to all attractions LA and Malibu. Will stay here again. -

Great location and very easy to get from lax airport. Close to Venice
Beach and Santa Monica. Not the cheapest hotel in area but previous
experience of Marriott quality did not disappoint. Would stay there
again and recommend to others. -

A really nice place, we stayed here for 5 days over the weekend and it was wonderful. During low season there is no parking problem as mentioned from other guests. The included breakfast is absolutely sufficient to start the day, for more just walk 150m to Washington Blvd. which is also a good location for lunch / dinner. Would / will come again.

I love the size of the suite. It was like a 1bedroom apartment and the patio was clean and quiet and right outside - just steps from the sand/beach... What an awesome hotel!!!! The pictures didn't do any justice, it's better than the pictures. They forgot to post pictures of their patios, upstairs and downstairs for the 1bdrm suite's.

The Hotel was a great Inn. The staff (Chris) was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and very cozy. Includes a big tv with free video on demand! The bed is super comfy. The breakfast is simple but served in a very cozy room. Don't expect a huge hotel - it's a motel - and a very nice one. Would recommend. -

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower head was up high on the wall (it's a big deal when your 6' 4") and had lots of pressure (love that too) the room was very well insulated, a.k.a. Quiet and warm.

Room was big, bed was really comfortable. The location of the Jolly Roger is fantastic. It is about a mile to the beach front and Abbot Kinney Blvd is just around the corner. It takes about 10 minutes to be in the middle of wonderful cafés and stores on Abbot Kinney. It really is a great neighborhood.
Parking was free. -

Our stay at Marina del Rey was excellent. Although the front desk could not find anything on our reservation, which said that morning the man was included.
Had fortunately a confirmation of where it stood.
Breakfast restaurant when you are in a very dark room.
The hotel is fine in relation to the port. Where there is a part restaurents.

Stayed here for just one night at the end of a trip that began and
finished at la. Great location close to Venice beach and Santa Monica.
Also very convenient to the airpot. Initial days of our California trip
we got an la hotel as home base close to Hollywood. But later we
selected this hotel close to the airport and the beaches before
returning home. Free parking and excellent wifi free connection is a
bonus at this hotel. Rooms are clean. Nice staff at the hotel.

This place is fine really. Seemed newly refurbished and the staff were friendly. Really well located for downtown SM and the beach where most accommodation is very pricey. -
second time staying here, great for a budget night or two. Just 10 minutes brisk walk from Main Street, Santa Monica.

I really liked this hostel, the workers are super friendly, the place has 24-hour security with a buzz-in door, I felt relatively safe, the location is unbelievably great - right opposite the skate park. I met a lot of locals whilst staying here, I would stay here again and it's worth paying more for a private room for a few days stay. -

Met so many lovely people from all over the world, learnt alot from staying there. Activities organised for hostelers were great too, like Club Hop, and bar hop etc..

OMG....I would like to start out by saying this hotel was amazing and the staff from the day I got there till the morning I left were friendly and inviting. They treated us with so much passion. Lastly, the hotel is awesome the elevator was way cool. I couldn't help but to take a video while I proceed down the elevator. And the room was the icing on the cake. It was like paradise packed inside of a little studio. I will definitely be back next year. You guys were awesome. Thanks.....Th

Staff. Walking in to see a nice hotel as when I drove up..I Thought omg,
I made a big mistake. Very ugly from the outside but once in, the staff

Brilliant, friendly & helpfull staff. It's right on the famous
boardwalk next to plenty of restaurants & a small convenience store.
It's secure, with a good safety deposit box in the room & I felt
safe despite the colour characters going in & out at night. My room
was also impeccably clean, as was the whole hotel. -
The staff at this hotel were sensational! We got to check-in early, had our bags carried up 3 flights of stairs (because the elevator was on the fritz) and got to check-out late so we could sleep off our jet-lag. Plus they have one of the best lobby spaces I've ever seen and there's rooftop access to watch the sunset over Venice.

This hotel was quiet and clean the room was a good quality as was the restaurant we would have liked a water view but got one on the side where we could see a bit of water but no sun just plenty of traffic but we did find the double glazing was efficient so not too noisey. -

There was ample parking space, the staff were friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was good and much better than most motels I've stayed in.
The rooms were large and spacious, decent tv channels and bathroom size was good.
There was a microwave, a fridge, ironing board, everything you needed.

There is really almost nothing not to like -
Decent breakfast selection (waffles!), room was clean and ok. WiFi worked fine, you can use multiple devices at the same time, though you have to login on a website each time you (re-)connect. There were both a fridge and a microwave in our room. Lots of parking space, relatively close to Venice beach.
