We got upgraded to a suite! What a treat! The proximity to the places I wanted to be. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved the courtyard swimming pool. We loved the Dauphine! It is close enough to Bourbon, without the noise
and other nonsense. We were given a room across the street from the main
hotel and it was absolutely lovely. A calm oasis compared to the madness
of the French Quarter. Also if you going to a conference at any of the
major hotels, the Dauphine is a quick walk to all. My confer

The May Bailey's bar Is the best one!!! I met someone called Nathaniel and I had the best time ever ,just regret I didn't ask for his e-mail because he forgot his glasses and I wish I can give them back to him ... The bartender Sarah is the best!!! And Dauphine hotel has it all to have a wonderfull staying at New Orleans!! Thank you ..also I must congratulate the security staff they are amazing too!!

We have stayed there before and it is our favorite place to stay in New Orleans. Good location and gorgeous. They are committed to providing first class service. - The rooftop was so romantic, you can look out over the city. The hotel had beautiful marble floors in the lobby.

Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller.
I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. -
A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables
and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the
view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and
modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very
friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety
deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two
blocks from Bourbon Street.

The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. We ate in the bistro the first night we arrived and were pleasantly surprised with the food

We really liked the location because we were close enough to walk a short distance to Bourbon Street but we were far enough away from all of the loud music and party goers that we could sit peacefully on our balcony and enjoy the sun and fun from a distance.

The staff, Valerie, Donald, Quinten and the wonderful woman who checked us out were all exceptional hosts. They were very attentive to our every need. All were very knowledgeable of the activities in the area, providing information about important sites to see, parking suggestions for our car and offering advice of the local hot spots for dining

The location couldn't have been better. Two blocks off of Bourbon St and two blocks from Jackson Square. Very close to a lot of nice restaurants, shopping, and art galleries. The courtyard pool was the perfect way to relax in the late afternoon before dinner. The morning breakfast buffet had good variety of pastries and cereals to choose from. The balcony suite had a very simple, but classic design. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning and having my morning coffee.

I came as a solo traveler in the middle of the night because of a late flight, and even though the staff had confusion about who was supposed to be in which room, they handled it just fine that evening and in the morning when we switched rooms to get it straightened out the way we were supposed to be. Staff was excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location in a
quieter section of the French Quarter (but still close to all the
action). The room and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable
and looked recently renovated. We were very pleased with our whole
experience.

My husband and I have been to New Orleans many times and have stayed everywhere throughout the city. This was probably our favorite place for location, budget, cleanliness and privacy. It felt like we had our own apartment and you really get the full Quarter experience being in the heart of the neighborhood. Easy walk to everything!
