I checked into Grand Hyatt in Dec2013.
I was pleasantly surprised by how big the rooms are; at least, twice as big as any other hotel that I have stayed in for a price around $400. The rooms are extremely good in terms of maintenance and all the facilities that you would expect of Hyatt.

Room was clean and efficient . Good bathroom with daily replenished products .

Huge Lobby where the free wifi was available .
Lobby included coffee shop and snack area .
Nice bar area . We didn't use the restaurent or breakfast facilities preferring to eat out .

Everything. The service was excellent, far better than many more expensive hotels, nothing was too much effort for the staff who were always bright and friendly and came up with quick and more than satisfactory solutions to anything they were asked. The hotel was super clean - newly renovated. The staff was superb!
Everyone from the doorman, bell boy to reception, housekeeping and room

We booked a large room and were upgraded to a suite with living room andbalcony. Very nice touch. I would definitely stay there again. This isbeing stated by someone who lives and works in nyc. We had a terrible stay at a NYC hotel previous to this hotel so we walked away from our booking & found this place. It was brand new & their service levels were incredible! Great, comfy little rooms, free wifi, a guest lobby area on 27th floor that overlooks Chrysler building & other skyscrapers, computers to access & complimentary

The location is great. It is a new hotel still under construction but it is almost done. It is very good to have complimentary drinks and snacks during de day on 27th floor with a couple of computers and printer to acces . You can refill your water bottle with fresh cold water just outside your bedroom door. The bathroom is very well lit which is quite unusual in hotels and room nicely decorated. You can also open the window.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly! At one point, i dropped a Tiffany and Co braclet down the drain! They retreived it in seconds to my surprise! The staff was also helpful with directions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was super clean. -

The location is incredible! It is one block round the corned from Grand Central Station and just a very short walk to the Public library and Bryant Park, the Rockefeller Centre and Times Square. From our window we looked right at the Chrysler Building wich is also on a few short blocks away.

Celebrated an anniversary with the wife. We live in Long Island so we

Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer
camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please.
We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are
huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet
comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central
Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that
I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!

We went to nyc on a girls trip staying in a two double bed with a city
view room on the 18th floor. Comfortable beds, very clean, adequate
breakfast in am, 24 hr coffee, and excellent service with front desk.
They were always eager to address our needs. This hotel is only two
blocks away from Grand Central Station, which was perfect for seeing the
city. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was th sliding door
that separates the bedroom and bathroom. This was easily overlooked

This hotel location is very near to most amenities, from shops up to your chemist, with restaurant ever close by, it is difficult not t like thehotel, with the only exception of its not so free internet connection. Which I would expect for the value at which we paid for the room. -
