  Hotel had a more personable feeling about it - some of the larger hotels are so impersonal. Staff were extremely friendly and greeted you upon arrival and departure. Staff were very responsive. The location is extremely good - quiet and within walking distance to many of the tourist sites. Overall had an excellent stay at Taj and would like to ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » thank the staff for excellent service. - This is an outstanding hotel. The service is superb and the staff courteous and polite. The dining experience is fabulous, and the chicken curry (ask for the white meat to be changed for dark meat) is divine. Room service is rapid, with the slowest delivery being 32 minutes - that would be extremely fast for most 5 star hotels that I have stayed in.

  When leaving our luggage after our early morning arrival, we LOVED the fact that they let us check in to our room several hours early! They offered it to us unsolicited, which would be totally unheard of in most hotels! Loved the daily complimentary water, yoga, & 24-hr fitness room. We will definitely stay here again if in San Francisco. - our second stay here. We live locally but have events in SF. This hotel is our first choice. Fab location and Hotel. We had a corner room which looked out to the ferry building and the street cars. Hip boutique hotel. This visit the only - was the fan constantly blowing in the room/bath. I slept in the robe for I was cold. If I turned on the heat the room would have been hot for the others. easy to walk around and pick up a cab here.
