I have been staying here at papakea everytime I come to maui for the last 25 years. I love the property and the staff is always nice and helpful. I always feel like I gat my value for my money. -

The total ambience with all the antiques and shutters and the lovely
deck abutting our room was wonderful and it was very quiet and yet close
to all the shopping, restaurants, tourist ventures etc. Our room was
always clean and a nice place to stay. We were particularly impressed

that does not happen in Australia. She is a true professional and

The hotel staff at the front desk was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay such a pleasure. Katherine and Anne were the best hostesses ever! The restaurant had a variety of good food. We enjoyed sitting in the open portion where we could watch the waterfront activity.

An amazing stuff. The owner was very nice and her hotel is amazing. It
is bed & breakfast in the Lahaina, 2min walk from the beach. Each
room is very cozy, has everything necessary and is very nicely designed.
We also had an amazing day trip to Hana, organized by the hotel. It was
much cheaper than offered by the major tour agencies but very g

on the long drive to/from Hana. It was very family like day trip!

I came with my then wife on a 25th anniversary trip in 1997. Since then there has been quite a bit of development of other hotels in the area since then but there is still a feeling of space because of the surrounding golf courses. Access from pool to sea is excellent.

We stayed in two different rooms on two different nights. The first room
was the cheap basic room. That one was tiny but had all the amenities we
needed. The second room was the private studio downstairs and was
amazing with a kitchen, living room, and great amenities. I believe the
price difference isn't too great between the rooms so I def would
suggest the studio if you plan on being in your room a lot. The location
was great- right down the street from the beach. Shopping was close by.

We love to stay in old,historic hotels. We do not expect the rooms to be luxurios. This hotel is in the middle of busy Lahaina Front Street. It is close to great food and shopping. It is OLD, a litle musty, a little rustic, but to us, beautiful. It's like time-travel. We would stay there again.

I loved my room 1622! The view was spectacular, proximity to the beach was incredible! The value was outstanding! It's a hidden gem where for a motel price you get a luxury resort view. The staff was really friendly and they accommodated everything I requested! I've had an amazing experience, I'd like to stay in room 1620 next time. -

Great place. Excellent snorkeling on a private beach. The sea turtles are everywhere. Great variety of reef fish and eels. We even saw a manta ray. Heated swimming pool. Beautiful location. Easily accommodated 4-5 people. Daily maid service. -
