We liked that we were right on the beach front close to everything but just far enough away from the noise. Hosts very friendly.Dont be put off by the fact that the car park is round the corner ( 5 mins walk)unless you have trouble with your legs. You can park the car outside to unload your cases.

We were pleasantly surprised. Hotel was easy to find, had excellent parking. the staff were very nice and helpful, the room was very spacious with a double bed and single bed in. We had a warm welcome from Sue who shown us to our room which was beautiful and very spacious, it had everything to cover every needs including little touches such as large bottle of water, wine glasses, toiletries in the en-suite, box of tissues and well stocked hot drinks sachets with biscuits, We felt spoilt and it was like being in a honeymoon

recommendation. Sue and Graham are friendly and make you feel very

We liked the friendliness of the owners of the Crofton Guest House. Nothing was too much trouble for Duncan and Diane and they created a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff exceptionally friendly, called ahead before we arrived and we were allowed to check in early, which was a welcome relief. Rooms were exceptionally clean, airy and modern. Well designed and functional. Bathrooms were very clean. Hospitality tray was very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and catered very well for all tastes and a two year old. Very pleasant stay here, the food is excellent, although the menu was set you could have it anyway you wanted so very helpful and the staff are all very friendly. The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. Fantastic location too. Everything is so well run and the owners are really lovely and helpful. -

Good location near the town and beach.
Stayed 3 nights and although in a residential area it was quiet every night.
Good breakfast and extra's e.g. cereals, yoghurts, fruit and offered as much toast as we wanted.
The owner was lovely and had a good balance of being helpful, without being overpowering.

The best thing about Philbeach Hotel was it felt like being at home. The deocr was not dated it was very modern without it being stuffy which is a big bonus when staying at a hotel, you want to feel comfortable and able to relax it did just that. The breakfast is made on request and was very nice, i had two young children with me and they were both accomodated for which is rare. Very satisfied cusomer.

The staff were very helpful and the bed and bedroom was very comfortable however the bar could have been open later. One night we went to the bar but couldn't find any staff. We thought it was closed so went out for a drink only to find out when we came back that we could have had a drink in the hotel bar if we had rang the bell in the hall! This

The location is great, right on the sea front with all amenities close by. Transport for various destinations close by. Boat trips available. Very clean beach, good quality of water, great for children. Fish and chips to die for. Hotel lovely, Great breakfast, room comfortable, Large bathroom. Would definitely stay again. Huge antique emporium just opened by the harbour and all the shops you need and more. Great place for a break.
