we booked after finding the hotel on the internet.Jeff was very helpful whilst we booked and met us with Sandra and Maddie on our arrival with a welcoming pot of tea in the residents lounge,which was superb for a quiet moment if you wanted one at any time.The family room was clean,spacious and the cjildrens room of equal quality.Everything you needed was in the room and an irioning board and hair dryer on the landing for communal use.Breakfast really did set us up for the day.On offer daily was - Wayne

Stayed with Kate and Ed last week. Had a fab front room that you could lay in bed and see the coast and the next town with lights on after dark. We arrived late and Kate made us a delicious homecooked meal which we needed after a six hour drive.We had other evening meals as well all superb and beautifully cooked. All staff were friendly and hard working and nothing was too much trouble.Ed introduced my husband to a bottle of local wine which he has raved about ever since !! Breakfast filled us u - Geoff

Having stayed in many hotels and guest accomodation throughout the UK my wife and I were highly impressed with Kingston House. The rooms were the best presented we have ever encountered in our travels and both Jo & Will were exeptional hosts who take pride in their 5 Star accomodation, we did however feel that the tariff was far too cheap. Excellent Gem of a B&B. 5 star all the way. Would definitly recommend and would stay there again. Proprietors Helen and Phil are fantastic. Made you feel very welcome. On arrival we were met by Helen who showed us our room, No9. Great room, lots of windows over looking the garden, large room with lots of storage space also a safe. If you are looking for first class accomodation in the Torbay area, then this is the place. Situated in a quiet location about 1/4 mile from the sea front, with good access by rail, bus and car (free hotel car park). We stayed in room 3, a large airey double with an ajoining room housing two single beds. Ensuite (in the double), TV/DVD player in both rooms. Decor is very clean, modern and well thought out. Breakfast is served in a small dining room with a large window overlooking the front garde - Carol
