absolulty lovely stay!we only stayed one night but was perfect beds so comfy, breakfast was yummy and good choice to choose from. rooms and hotel very modern well decorated in matching colours and details. owners were so chatty and friendly suggested restaurants for us to go to very polite and welcoming for us to come back and stay anytime and we definatly would we had what was called small double room but it was absolutly fine it wasnt 'small' like i had in mind at all plently of space! yes th.
όλα τα σχόλια » The staff (dean and Richard) were fantastic and made me and my partner feel right at home straight away- and the room was literally as it was on the picture, it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Our room wasn't too big, but we had an en suite ( which is always nice) and a king size bed. The hotel wasn't far from town ( just a short walk away) and dean and Richard were very informative about the change of route (they were diversions due to builders etc) also, the breakfast we had in the. Great owners, really good breakfast all freshly cooked,not greasy,good quality bacon and sausage and fresh mushrooms excellent.Good firm beds,room small but functional,has everything in it you would require including an excellent silent fridge,very handy.About the best guest house we have ever stayed in.No one will be disappointed with this establishment you will have to go some way to find a more friendly,clean,comfortable,guest house,thoroughly recommended,outstanding value for money. A great place to stay for location, great breakfast, comfy bed, nice owners. A 10 minute walk to the front. Bus stop outside newsagents 50 yards away will take you to buses that cover the area. Great if you have a bus pass. Cannot recommend this place enough. Would make this my first choice when visiting Torquay again. Everything about this place was exceptional! The rooms were immaculately cleaned every day and the breakfasts were served hot and fresh. Ran by such a lovely and welcoming family that was helpful and generous. I won't be staying in any other place when I visit torquay. Everything! Dean and Richard are excellent hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay special. Also a great breakfast in really nice surroundings. liked the drink offered on arrival, premium quality teas and coffee in the room. hosts were very pleasant, everything you could want was in the room. breakfast was very nice with good quality food that was presented and cooked well. Road noise is a bit annoying,lots of stairs so not for the infirm. The small bathrooms and electric toilet were a negative. The walls were quite thin so you can hear people going in and out of their rooms. There was nothing I didn't like. as we are a mature couple we found the stairs rather a bind but only to be expected in that style of house, that wouldn't put us off, we would definatly stay again when in the area. The only downside was the noise of traffic at night, but that cant be helped being on main road. Traffic noise, although we expected it to, it didn't keep us awake - even with the window open on a couple of nights. Parking was a problem. Our windows were to the road and therefore it was a bit noisy at night. Fortunately there were earplugs provided by hotel. nothing to dislike. Nothing negative. The bathroom was slightly small. Stairs. Although the 'superior' bedroom was of good size, the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was good but had to wait almost half an hour for it. There would not be much parking available free of charge in the summer months. Elderly visitors need to be aware of a lot of stairs if staying on top [3rd] floor. Noise from recycling waste collectors very early in morning. Not much parking. Had to park car long way from guest house. limited parking. just one small thing for someone on the larger side was the toilet which was tucked in between bath & wall with no leg room. did not find it in the first place, the bathroom is a bit small and could be newer, also the room is too small for 2 people but we only stayed there one night so it was ok... too little parking facilities, noisy at night. On suite Bathroom very compact. Traffic noise and noisy late night revellers in street (1.30 am). Liked everything no negatives. Bathroom was a little cramped but wasn't a problem. traffic noise lait into night. It wz advertised as liscenecd but wen we checkd in wer told the male who hd liscense hd a problem with it so no alchole cd b zervd. Limited parking. Dated decor. Limited parking. Rather a lot of stairs,no lifts. nothing everything great.

Cranborne is a 5-storey Victorian house and there is no lift access. The bedrooms are on the first, second and third (top) floors. Free street parking and pay and display car parks are within walking distance. Please provide the guest house with an estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Comments Box when booking, or by using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag parties. Due to the nature of the building, the guest house is unable to accept children under 16 years.
