Accommodation, service and cuisine was exceptional value for money Staff were friendly and helpful in Reception. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind. The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained

The traqnquility of the surroundings, dedicated commitment of the staff(not in your face but available to carry out every request made) and theluxury of the restaurant. - The club was lovely, we used the pool as much as we could. The grounds were great and enjoyed a long walk. The perfect place to relax and enjoy my partners Birthday.

Fantastic building overlooking the port of Southampton. Everything you would expect from a top hotel. Great value dinner inclusive rate. - The service was very good, and freindly. The facilities were available if wanted. The location was great for our purposes.

The staff where very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was available and the Buffet style "eat all you can" breakfast was a welcomed treat. - was on business, had a good sleep, the bed was comfortable and clean free internet access that was a bonus.

The meal we had was fantastic! The meatiest, largest lamb shank with delicious gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, carrots and peas. Apple & rhubarb crumble with lashings of custard. MMMMMMMM!

Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is
within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have
a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and
ideal for a night or two can't fault.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

we made this booking as were working away, this was the first time we had opted to accommodate the guys in a serviced apartment and it worked brilliantly, the apartment was clean well equipped and it meant the guys had the comforts of home whilst working away. have already booked a second weeks stay. -

It's a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast is also excellent. We have stayed there several times and have enjoyed the restful atmosphere. - The helpful attitude of the hotel staff, and the rooms were clean pleasant, the breakfast provided was first class, as was the parking provided.

Perfect weekend break. At the outset let me say this is not a luxury
five star hotel. So to avoid any chance of disappointment do not expect
the style of top class locations where you may have stayed before.

What an amazing hotel!! Me and my husband stayed 2 nights for my birthday and chistmas shopping, free parking and about 15mins away from city centre. The outside of the hotel is beautiful and very well looked after. The pub / dinning is very warm and welcoming with an open fire. There is set meals and I must say very yummy and breakfast. Service was again 100% friendly who will go out their way to help.
The rooms are luxurious, cosy, warm and spacious. We swapped rooms on arrival as we wanted

They phoned before we arrived to make sure we knew that the hotel was on the southbound side of the motorway otherwise we would have had to walk through the underpass to the hotel. The size of the room was excellent and was nice and warm when we arrived. -

Helpful, welcoming service.
The room was lovely. Clean, good layout, nicely and thoughtfully designed. Quality amenities, from hair dryer to hot drink selection, this hotel is really quite lux, but not over the top!
The restaurant was also lovely, good food, friendly service.

Extremely comfortable and well-appointed room. Bed and bedding were gorgeous quality. Shower room was top quality. Service attentive and personable. Restaurant was buzzing and relaxed- make sure you book! Parking spot great ( again - book ahead.) I knew when I booked that rooms overlooked Red Funnel ferry dock on busy road. All -night heavy traffic and lights did not bother us at all- a light sleeper who didn't know, might suffer. Air con & double glazing muffle the sound but don't elimina
