Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in an English B&B!! Freshly cooked to order and hot! Our room (No 4) was huge and very clean and comfortable, in fact the hotel place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend The Cordelia to everyone. What a find! I can honestly say this is one of the nicest b&b's we have every stayed in. From the lovely warm welcome and delicious homemade scone to the lovely clean and nicely decorated room and extremely comfy bed. The owners could not do enough for us and made our stay very pleasant and little chihuahua was made most welcome too. The only

We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the hosts John and Gillian, we
were shown to room 2 on the 1st floor and we were not disappointed, the
room was tastefully decorated,spotless and the bed was lovely and comfy.
The breakfast was very nice with a vast choice of fresh fruits and
cereals followed by a delicious cooked breakfast served by john, the
friendliest host we have ever met. We are already planning to return in
a few weeks as it was such a nice place to stay. Thank you mark and sue.

Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Very friendly proprietor, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. The area where the hotel is situated is easily within walking distance into Scarbrough town centre or seaside but is in a quieter part which means that you can sleep peacefully. I would definitely recommend this hotel

I liked the location as it was near the beach, sea and beautiful gardens. It was free of the noise and bustle of the north side of Scarborough. The breakfast was very nice. I noticed they used quality bacon because it wasn't full of salt, the room was as one would ave expected for the price - big, nicely deorated an clean.

Very welcoming upon arrival, due to being new to Scarborough we were provided with a map and highlighted all of the local attractions and routes to these. The bedroom was very cosy as well as clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was beautiful with plenty to eat and drink. Looking forward to my next stay and already recommending to family and friends.
