This was a second visit because we loved it so much the first time. Location is wonderful - quiet and peaceful with the lovely uncrowded beach at Totland easily accessible. Easy to get the bus from Yarmouth and to travel round the island. The hotel is extremely comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfasts are delicious - the best poached eggs ever- and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Definitely the best of the many hotels we have stayed in on the Isle of Wight. W

friendly, clean. Go to the Beach-shack 2 mins down the road for food on the beach. Really great dinner with the teenagers - fab wine and burgers by the sea. -
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. All areas clean and tidy.

Loved this place..Rosemary and John were lovely as were their staff (thanks girls).Room was perfect, uncluttered clean and very tidy. Great place to use as home base. Lovely to be left to our own devices and not hassled by the staff,if we needed to change anything we only had to ask. Food was lovely. Great to have the 'bed fairies' in to tidy up !

Ideal location for our groups needs being close to several bus services to access the whole island. John and Rosemary made sure of our comfort and requirements even though they had to deal with a first night no-show of one of our group.
Property is period furnished and pleasantly warm in the guest areas. Breakfast was ample and tasty and we were able to choose a 09.30 time which suited us perfectly.

The breakfast was lovely and catered to my dietary needs. The staff were
super friendly and welcoming. Even speaking to friends on the island
they agreed with the comments and recommend the hotel too. It's
slightly out of the main square (a couple of minutes walk) which is a

Andrea & Mark were very friendly and accomadating.The breakfast was cooked fresh to order, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon for me, my friend had a big bowl of fab porrigde with seeds and cranberries. It is also very convenient to walk to the town for the bars and restaurants. Loved and hope to return soon.
