I stayed a night before an interview. Carol, the landlady/ manager
is very friendly, exactly the lovely hallmark character of this B&B
as described by others on TripAdvisor. Friendly welcome, lovely room,

I liked absolutely everything about Cornerways Guest House. Carol, the landlady was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail shows that she genuinely loves what she does. She gave us good advice and recommendations and helped make our whole visit a delightful experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We booked 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we had to stay a third night.

very friendly efficient staff. Clean room. Very good breakfast. Good value - Staff pleasant, and the lady who greeted us was very helpful in discovering information for us, giving us the fresh milk requested in ample quantity and ordering us a taxi. Car park very useful. Location good.

The Bear and Ragged Staff was oozing with old world charm. Log fires,
exposed beams, crooked staircases - very British. The food was amazing.
We ate dinner there one night and it was wonderful. Tasted home made
with real local ingredients, not the usual microwaved junk most pubs

This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff are fantastic, the food is
very good and the rooms are simply beautiful! The location was perfect
for our weekend visiting the beautiful city of Oxford followed by a
Bicester shopping trip on the way home only 15 minutes from the hotel.
We looked at Malmaison but thought it was too much for what it was so
when we found this one at such a fab price, we booked it immediately! 15
minutes in a taxi £8-£10 to Oxtord Westside - dropped off just outside

The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. The proprietor, Gabriella is charming and helpful. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order, plentiful: something for all tastes. The room was well-appointe

Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. Really appreciated the central heating in the mornings and evenings and the exceptionally hot shower ! Close to city centre. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

Di was very welcoming.
I arrived 2 hours early but was shown to my room straight away. I could leave my car in the drive. She gave me a lift into the town centre which was a great help. I felt more like a member of the family than a paying guest.
Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. A really lovely place to stay. Thank you -

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » derful weekend at St Margarets. A lovely room very comfortable and the staff very friendly. It was my partners birthday and they bought a cake and put up birthday banners (their idea, no extra cost) - it was a lovely surprise at breakfast.

Superb friendly staff and owners. excellent facilities. The kitchenette was fabulous. Very generous with extras like milk, cereals, bisuits. Impeccably clean. Breakfast served in rom. Wonderful. We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB. So, the fact that the hotel has parking and is not far from the busstop made it convenient for getting into the city of Oxford. - Our ro

It was spotless clean. reception was very professional. Breakfast was served on a menu basis in a nice cosy lounge at the front of the house looking out on the road. Staff very courteous and discreet. No smell coming from the kitchen (unusual in B&Bs). Parking space for the car that they let us leave there for the whole afternoon after checkin

Easy transportation to Oxford City by bus.
Good' information about comodities upon arrival. Very good service, as she made a rearrangement for other guests as we arrived one day too early. The other guest got two nights at the neighbour's guesthouse.
Breakfast was nice, and it was good to sit in the garden in the evenings.

This was a good, value-for-money, small, city hotel. The owner had designed both the bedrooms and public areas imaginatively, maximising the limited space. A pleasant ambiance. I hope to return. -

The young man who checked both myself and my colleague into the hotel
was extremely good at Customer Service. He appreciated that we were two
ladies on our own and did not disclose our room vicinity verbally but
instead wrote down on a piece of paper exactly where our rooms were

Helpfulness of staff.
Design of room, cleanliness, comfort.
Access to bus stop. A bit of a walk, but worth it not to have to drive.
Disability friendliness. Although we didn't need the Disability access of our room, it looks as though it was very well designed with no gaps for access.

The overall ambience of the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean, fresh room decoration. We also enjoyed the location with a bonus of a restaurant overlooking woodland. Close to Oxford/A34 and Park and Ride but far enough away fso that road noise and city life, does not intrude. - Very welcoming and attentive to guests requirements, my birthday was made

Derrick, Heather, and Clara were so kind and welcoming.
My room was small, but snug and very comfortable. It was very clean! I loved the teapot and selection of drinks in my room. The refrigerator was very nice to have as well. I was there for one week and never dreaded coming home to Cotswold House.
