Superb friendly staff and owners. excellent facilities. The kitchenette was fabulous. Very generous with extras like milk, cereals, bisuits. Impeccably clean. Breakfast served in rom. Wonderful. The staff were very welcoming. The room was really comfortable and clean. The hotel was ideally situated for exploring Oxford. - Excellent quality and comfort of room plus best ginger biscuits I have tasted. Pleasant walk into Oxford.

The hotel is very close to the rail and bus stations and also to downtown. Although we arrived early in the morning we were allowed to leave the laggage in the bar and go to visit the town. The modern design of the rooms, control over the heat, comfort of bed,the location (near park and ride so there was easy access to thecenter), size of room, option to order omelette for breakfast ratherthan eat buffet eggs - The room was great and the breakfast was lovely. This is no ordinary B & B but a century old pub situated in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from the city centre, with friendly helpful staff and excellent food at a good price. They were very helpful. After I was there for three hours I discovered the toilet did not work. They moved me to another room immediately. Two days later the ceiling caved in during the night because of the water from the air conditioner. Immediately they moved me to another room. - the clealiness was fantastic. infact it worth more than the money

We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB. So, the fact that the hotel has parking and is not far from the busstop made it convenient for getting into the city of Oxford. - Our ro

The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

It was a new guest house. It was very clean, very good quality of pillows and matrices, we had an excellent sleep. The entire decoration was minimal but beautiful. The stuff was very helpful and professional. Very close to the train station and the center. It was an enjoyable stay -

The hotel was very comfortable. I had asked for a room with a view over the countryside and was given one. We were originally given a room with an ajoining door which was noisy as we could hear the next rooms tv. I asked reception if we could move. They read my original request for a countryside view and upgraded us for free in order to do this so

Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and well decorated. Both food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The breakfast menu catered for all tastes; the food was plentiful and self service ensured we had exactly what we wanted. The dinner menu was also excellent. - Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was large, well appointed and extremely clean. I had asked for an upstairs room overlooking countryside - my request was complied with and we had a lovely view. Food was outstanding for a hotel. Breakfast plentiful, varied and extra items ordered (ie veggie sausages and smoked haddock) arrived swiftly. Dinner also excellent.
