The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. The hotel

Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

This Spa-hotel is brilliant! Even if you don't pay for the spa
treatments (such as massage), you still get free use of jacuzzi, sauna,

I cannot fault this hotel, it was well organised with helpful friendly staff, excellent facilities in the room and throughout the hotel.
The pool was warm, and clear, with perfect steam room, sauna and the bubbliest jacuzzi.
Having complimentary bath robes and slippers was delightful, and there were plenty of teas, coffee and shampoos in our room and the shower was hot and powerful. The TV worked well, and it was nice to have a table in the room to sit at for reading.

Very friendly and helpful staff who ensured your needs were met. Excellent facilities with gym and indoor and outdoor pools. Children well catered for with separate dining facilities so adult parties not disrupted. -

Wonderful front desk staff, very helpful in organising complimentary upgrades and late check out.
Ample parking.
Brand new state of the art steam room - though the temperature could have been a tad hotter.
Pool was nice and warm, great for kids/familes.
Beautiful seaview rooms (note, you do nto get views with economy doubles).

It's the whole surroundings and facilities that make his a great hotel - Really enjoyed staying at the Bay hotel, The staff where very friendly on arrival, the room was a nice size and very clean.. The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Ive always found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. -

Everything was what I expected, staff friendly and helpful, 50 metres walk from the hotel, beautiful views of the ocean. -
Hotel was very friendly and good value for money entertainment was good would recommend to friends and family
