Apartment was great, really clean, great location & Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. Really nice & modern, two enormous twin beds, a beautiful master en-suite bedroom and a comfortable bunk bed room. Stuart was also very good in allowing us to check in early and check out later as well as recommending some nice cafes in the area for lunch. Very central to city centre, couldn't recommend it highly enough!

It is a very clean, comfortable hotel, close to the center of Edinburgh. My room was very spacious, with great bathroom. Very tasty breakfast was delivered to my room at no extra cost. Very comfortable rooms, great people.During our holidays we had an accident. We accidentally caused a hole in the plasterboard wall. The maintainer came immediately and he did not ruin our holidays, as he came to repair it the day we left. ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ments are positioned in a very interesting and enjoyable area. The apartment was lovely and good value for money. I have stayed in the St Giles apartments before - this one is to a similar standard but slightly smaller and a little further to walk to but was cheaper.

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

We stayed in apartment 11 on the third floor. The view was incredible of
St. Giles Cathedral. The location superb two blocks from the castle.
Many restaurants and shops on the royal mile. Many tourists but inside
the apartment calm and relaxing. A bit of noise at night as shops and
restaurants were cleaning up and ghost tours ending but by 11pm all went
quiet until about 7am. We enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything
including Waverly train station.

Great to have so much space. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting at the widow "people watching" on the royal mile. A perfect location. would highly recommend it - Easy to get to, extremly comfy, clean and lots of little extras you dont get in a hotel.

Fantastic scenic location, close to centre and all main sights but also in university area with huge choice of great eating places, pubs, museums, cinemas and theatres. Excellent gym on doorstep and wonderful walking routes nearby.

The apartment was of a very high standard - beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything needed for my week stay, great location, very central. Ideal for 5 days of business and 2 days of pleasure.
Very good communication from thistle staff - a query was responded to very quickly and there were a number of emails to ensure everything was going ok during my stay, which was great.
Very good value for money and made my stay in Edinburgh very enjoyable.

Underneath the apartment complex is a Sainsbury supermarket were you can get almost everything you need. There are also a Starbucks and Peter's Yard where you can sit down and relax with a cup of good coffee.
Location is at walking distance from the city center and located at the edge of the Meadows.
