Recieved a warm welcome at Darroch View B&B, starting when we
realised that we wouldn't be checking in on time, and had to phone
ahead saying we'd be a little late, but they could not have been
more friendly and accomodating. The room was very nice and clean, same
for the en suite bathroom, complete with power shower! Sky tv and wifi
in the room too, both worked perfectly. Breakfast was arranged upon
arrival, where we were able to pick and choose from the classic Scottish

Hayley is a wondful hostess and made us feel very welcome.
She was very efficient at showing us how everything worked in our room, making suggestions for dinner, etc. We walked to dinner at the village hotel and enjoyed a delicious meal--plus a bottle of wine since we didn't have to drive home!
Breakfasts were large and delicious and kept us going for several hours:-) Neil is also very friendly and we enjoyed our chats with him.
Hayley was a great hostess and her breakfasts were delicious (and the
largest portions we had out of six B&Bs during our three week
Scotland trip). She was very friendly and accomodating. The location was
perfect for exploring Ft. Augustus and Urquhart Castle. Easy walking
access to Invermoriston. Great view from the dining area.
I loved this B&B. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful and
bent over backwards to make me feel at home. The room was cozy and
comfortable. The breakfast was wondrous, and so was the lunch that was
packed for me. And it's located in a beautiful town in the Scottish
Highlands. What's not to love?.
Stayed here May 2013. Great quiet location of Invermoriston. Hayley the Landlady is so friendly, welcoming and accomodating, she made our stay very nice. Great, clean comfortable room. Great breakfast. Tea, coffe in room. A very pleasant stay. Totally recommend.
The proprietor was friendly and customer focussed; informative and attentive. The room was large, pristine and comfortable. The breakfast was made to suit individual needs. We loved our stay and went onto a more expensive venue not a patch on this one!.
We loved this B&B. Hayley the owner is fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel cofortable. The view alone from the B&B makes it worth staying there. We totally recommend staying at Darroch View B&B.

This B&B is in a very commercial area (it's all about Nessy) and therefore the price / quality ratio slightly different than in the rest of the Scottish highlands. Do not expect too much luxury but a decent, clean, neat room with private bathroom facilities. The beds are quite comfortable and the (small) televisions have many channels. The English breakfast was well cooked. Great view / location!.

- Arriving from from Fort Augustus and Isle of Skye, Darroch View B&B is situated approximately 200 yards from the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel on the same side of the road, on the A82 road towards Inverness. Go past the cul-de-sac, carry on for another 100 yards and turn left up a private road which is sign posted ‘Darroch View B&B’.
- Arriving from Inverness, indicate right when you see the ‘Welcome to Invermoriston’ sign, then turn right up the private road all the way to the top.
- For those arriving by foot, access is off the main road through the front garden which is sign posted 'Darroch View'.
