Allgirlz is a small, female-only hostel with a central Edinburgh location, 10 minutes’ walk from Waverley Train Station. Each dorm bed has a personal safe, and there is free breakfast and free WiFi.
Each dormitory contains bunk beds and sleeps from 4-8 guests. Beds have a reading light and the safe is large enough to accommodate valuables such as laptops. There are modern bathrooms with showers, toiletries and plenty of mirrors, hairdryers and straighteners.
There is free continental breakfast with home-baked bread each morning, and free tea and coffee throughout the day. Guests are able to use a shared, well-equipped kitchen, and communal lounge, with DVDs and a guitar.
Previously the Bus Station Backpackers hostel, Allgirlz is just a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh Bus Station, and 400 metres from Princes Street, where Princes Mall boasts an array of fashion and beauty stores.
The trendy Grassmarket is 1 mile away, and the Edinburgh Playhouse and Scottish National Gallery can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.

It was a very small and cosy all girls hostel . There are only about 18 beds and that made it very easy for people to meet each other. Kylie, the owner , is a very experienced backpacker and obviously knows exactly what it takes to make a perfect little hostel. Brand new wooden bunks. clean bathrooms. little nightlights. free shampoos. hair dryers. fresh home made bread in the morning. loads of movies to watch. excellent free wifi. etc. etc. etc. 100% recommendation. όλα τα σχόλια »
I loved this hostel! Kylie is a such a great host which gives the whole place a really nice and friendly feel to it. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which was very comfortable with a great bed so it was easy to get a good nights sleep there! The smell of the home made bread cooking in the morning is also a great treat!.
I have had the best time ever in this hostel! The hostel has all the facilities that you can need when you are far from home and at the same time you feel like being at home. The staff of the hostel can't be better!
I recommend this hostel to everyone who will visit Edinburgh.

The staff is really kind-hearted. Almost everything is provided in the hostel such as breakfast, shampoo, hair dryer.. The location of the hostel is excellent, which is about 5 minute's walk from bus station and 10 minute's walk from train station.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel it's a very small and friendly place. Really close to the city centre, only about a 5 minutes walk from princes street. The hostel feels very safe and cozy. Thanks Kylie for being an awazing hostess.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! Everyone was friendly (especially Rachel, who runs the place). The atmosphere is cozy and everything was very clean. The location is good too, within walking distance to everything.
The staff is very friendly, she give me an overview on where is the nearest supermarket and what are the main attraction that I can go.
