I needed somewhere cheap to stay for a night after attending a wedding
in Bournemouth and this place was a bargain at £30. The hotel itself was
great, the room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff
were very friendly. The best thing though, was the Manager, Karl (or
Carl? Spelling?). Nothing was too much trouble for the guy and he cooks
some mean fried eggs (just what I needed for the hangover! This will
definitely be the first place I consider next time I stay in

The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, willing to go out of his way to make our stay as best he could. Very clean, lovely room, good location, a short walk away from the beach and local shops and only a 5 minute cab ride away from bournemouth rail station. A lovely place, would definitely recommend to anyone, and we will stay there again if returning to bournemouth.
For the money I paid, I was expecting a bed in the room and nothing else. I got a tv and sink and a great selection of choices for breakfast. I even brought my own cup, bowl and breakfast because I didn't expect it to be included. Was grear to meet other runners at breakfast time as I travelled alone.
It's a home, and you are the guest. It's not a hotel.

This was my 2nd stay. During the first stay I went out and bought some cheese that I like for my breakfast. Karl noticed, and when I arrived this time he had gone out and bought some for me.
Good, clean bedroom and breakfast room.
Owner Carl was very helpful and accommodating when we asked to book in at an unusual time.
Close to local shops and only 10 minutes from Bournemouth Centre by cab, and about 5 from the beach via brisk walk.
Would stay again.

Very quiet there and not very far couple mins walking from Boscombe Town
Centre! Lovely breakfast, loads of cereals but they charge £4 pp for
cooked breakfast which was enormous well worth the money!.
The well fitted out room, the comfort., the style, the breakfast, the attention to detail, the warm and friendly welcome, the price, the excellent and fresh décor, the bathroom, the little extras.
Friendly staff. Made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. Clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Overall, would recommend this hotel highly and would definitely visit again!.

Was nice to wake up to tea/coffee on the first morning but the
second morning we had nothing as no-one replaced them! Had to use
wet/damp towels the second day also as nobody replaced them. Would
of been nice to have a bit of background music in the dining room at
breakfast....very quiet!.
No fridge in what was classed as a Superior Room. Limited Parking.

On Saturday night a young couple decided to have s rather loud, drunken argument at 3am. It must have woken up the whole hotel. No ones fault other than the selfish pair in question, but rather annoying.
Couldn't stay longer. :(.
There nothing I didn't like.
Hard mattress and stating that you have parking available when there is very limited parking and very little on street, we did get a park but if we didn't it would have been difficult to find one nearby.
Our room was on top floor and a bit small due to eaves .Also bed a bit short for a tall person .
Not en-suite, but I knew this in advance so it isn't really a complaint.
