Situated less than 10 minutes’ drive from Bournemouth town centre, Chalfield Manor Boutique Hotel is an Edwardian villa built in 1909 and retains original arts & crafts features. Chalfield Manor has been extensively modernised to include a lounge/bar, library and a treatment room which offers a range of beauty, massage and complimentary therapies. A freshly cooked Dorset full English, lighter option or continental breakfast featuring locally sourced produce is served daily from 08:30 until 10:00. The nearest beach is a 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and tennis courts can be reached in a 5-minute walk. Bicycle hire is also available upon request, and guests are also free to relax in the hotel’s Italian garden or Edwardian lounge which features a bar terrace. Bournemouth town centre features a wide variety of shops, restaurants and nightlife. Free Wi-Fi is featured in each room, as well as a plasma TV with Freeview, en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities.

The care and attention to detail shown by Dexter and Olitia (the owners) in restoring and modernising this lovely building is excellent. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and loved the setting, rooms, decor - everything about the place actually! We took a 3 night break mid week and spent our days on the beach by Boscombe pier (which is within easy walking distance). It was lovely to sit and have a drink in the bar on our return to the hotel and then after getting cleaned up, returnin.
όλα τα σχόλια » We loved everything about this beautiful hotel! The owners and staff were very friendly, interesting and helpful. We were made to feel welcome instantly. They also had excellent knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations for eating out. We stayed in the stunning and very luxurious "red" room, which was large, clean and comfortable. Lovely bathroom with big, fluffy towels and robes! Very tasty breakfast. We enjoyed sitting in the downstairs bar and garden area sampling the good. The proprietors Dexter and Otilia were really nice and friendly. They were there for your every need without being too intrusive. The room was very comfortable with all the needs of an overnight stay. Breakfast was served from 8.30-10.00am so allowing you to enjoy a lie in if required. The residence is only 5 minutes walk to the boscombe beach. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it. The house is very neat, clean & tasetfully decorated in keeping with the theme. The owners are lovely & made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice (I especially liked the fresh fruit salad!) & local produce is used where available & local cider served in the bar. We liked to have the choice of having a drink in the bar area, especially as they serve local cider!. The general standard of the hotel and accommodation - refurbished to high standard and very tastefully designed. The owners were very friendly and approachable. The owners were very attentive and proactively booked tables for us at local restaurants, for example, and made recommendations with regards local sites and activities. Hotel was also within a few minutes walk of the seafront and beaches. There was a strong mutual agreement between my boyfriend and I about how polite and genuine the staff were towards us both during our stay. The room itself was so lovely! As soon as we walked in it was apparent that it had been well maintained and we soon settled in as it was all very cosy. For our first mini holiday away together we couldn't have asked for anything more!. Our stay was so comfortable and relaxed in luxurious stylish accommodation. Friendly helpful happy staff. Breakfast was delicious and the fresh fruit salad needs a special mention! It was a perfect getaway from children, work and the general hub bub. Great location for walking to Boscombe Beach and also to Bournemouth along the prom. The owners, Dexter and Olivia, could not have been more welcoming. From the minute we arrived until we left three nights later, they were helpful, friendly and only too happy to help with anything we needed like ordering taxis, providing directions etc etc. The Breskfast menu and the bar are also worth an honorable mention. An Extremely warm welcome to a delightful boutique hotel. Beautifully finished and furnished, easy to park in grounds. Biggest fluffiest towels we have ever encountered on our trips and all crisp white bed linen. A most tasty and filling breakfast. Everything was excellent. A real find in a quite and peaceful area of Boscombe and close to the sea and sandy beaches. Excellent staff and management who saw to our every needs. Perfect! The room was excellent and we was given a very warm welcome.The breakfast was great and so was the warm and friendly atmosphere.Dexter and Otilia were the perfect hosts.We will definately be returning again. This is probably perfect for people going for beach holiday, but not necessarily for a person coming to see the city, or the region. However, I note, that this hotel is much cheaper, than centrally located hotels of similar standard. not even one remark. Leaving our new friends .
