The rooms were amazingly decorated and very spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room with a conservatory and our daughters were on the first floor. There was a small kitchen in each room which we only used for coffee/tea, but you could do some self catering. It was great having a car park and the walk into the town centre was a 5-10min stroll across the Pulteney Bridge. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Bath.

We absolutely loved The Old Smithy Loft and will be recommending it to friends and anyone else we can.

I liked everything about this location. The guest amenities were thoughtful, caring and very welcoming. The location is excellent, the flat was very warm and comfortable. The owners did everything in their power to leave us with nothing to want for. It was a home away from home and such a beautiful experience. I am grateful to the owners for making my stay a comfortable and memorable one. They truly care about their guests. I can't wait to go back.

Perfect - breakfast is wonderful; you can't get breakfast like this for under 12pound in the town. The rooms are beautifully furnished and our bed was the most comfortable we have slept in by far. A very nice accommodation, very well situated - central but quiet. The Hypnos beds that are advertised on the home page are probably older ones (as they are not so comfortable as our Hypnos bed at home :-)).
Breakfast was delicious!
In total a little bit to expensive for what you get.

Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!. Yes, the stairs are a bit of a nightmare (certainly get you puffing), but they wouldn't stop me staying here again

The highlight of this hotel has to be the breakfast - it is easily the best I've ever had, and if i were to return to Bath, I have no doubt I'd stay at this hotel again.

What a fabulous place to stay with a family! We had a 2 room suite-kids on the fold out couch and us in a huge king size bed. Plenty for kids to do, play ground fabulous, and lots of new things planned for the future at Brittons so we'll be back. Very luxurious, beautifully designed and warm under floor heating ( and it was COLD outside)! Hosts were great, super friendly and made us feel very welcome! The in-room breakfasts were fantastic, kids loved there coco pops! Oh and loved the Portugese

the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were really clean and the fact that we were so near to the city centre walking distance and we could leave the car where it was, the whole experiance was lovely - Great location, very easy to get into central Bath across the bridge. Beautiful small house on the top of the hill, the spring is murmuring downstairs. Wonderful garden views from all windows. Nobody around. Very quite and peaceful place, Very comfortable apartment. A little bit too expensive, but probably it is because we spend there only one day - the week will be cheaper. -

Staff easily contacted and very friendly.
The apartment was beautiful, decor was stunning and extremely clean throughout, with great facilities to use.
I came with a group of friends who all enjoyed there stay. It was easy access into the centre of bath and only a short drive to the surrounding countryside.

What a wonderfully warm welcome after a long journey. We could not have wished for a more welcoming start to our time in Bath. We stayed at Hill House on a 4 day bank holiday weekend during our two week tour of England. It was the best b&b we stayed at during the trip.
Room #5 was a hike to get to on the third floor but worth it. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough space for our needs. The shower only bathroom was spacious and modern. The room was quite quiet with a great view.
Harry and Douglas and Al were the consummate hosts with an encyclopedic knowledge of Bath restaurants, attractions and event
