For our first visit to Bath, we decided to go for something special and chose Queen Charlottes Orangery!
So glad we did as it was a wonderful place stay! Great location (only a 10 walk from Bath centre) and easy to find. We chose to stay in the Amelia room which was beautifully decorated in a Georgian theme, very clean, with all the usual amenities that you would expect from a room of this quality. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The view from the window looked out onto a very unique gar. όλα τα σχόλια »
Queen Charlottes Orangery is unique. It is like stepping into a fairy tale with its' beautiful furnishings and garden. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Greg who showed us to our room called Sofia which was absolutely delightful with a four poster bed and all the comforts one would expect from a four/five star hotel. Unfortunately we didn't meet Denise on this occasion but Greg proved to be a very warm and amusing host and provided great breakfasts. He also provided us with a park.
This hidden gem is like walking into an Alice in Wonderland location. It is an amazing place with little surprises around every corner. We only booked for one night but wished we had stayed for more. The owners are a lovely couple and have made this hotel a beautiful retreat for visiting Bath. It is only a ten minute walk to the centre, passing lots of interesting things along the way. Would definitely stay again and if it were possible would give 20 out of ten on scorecard!.
This hotel was a real gem in the centre of Bath. The regency style and elegance was very much part of the interior design with an absolutely delightful garden. The breakfast was delicious and in a lovely setting. The greeting from the little Westie was very welcoming and made this so much more relaxing than a usual corporate hotel. Would definitely recommend to all visitors wishing for a truly unique stay.
Very warm and comfortable and Orangery accomodation unique and very attractive. Good welcome and excellent vegetarian breakfast. Provision of prepared fresh food most welcome. Cultured host and surroundings, with classical music, totally in keeping with my expectations of romantic Bath. Peaceful and in an attractive area. Garden outlook must be particularly attractive in spring and summer.
Lovely quirky hotel in a fantastic location to visit to explore the centre of bath in all its glory!
The rooms are beautifully themed and the outside patio garden area is like stepping into the secret garden which we had breakfast In the day we were leaving!
Lovely owners making you feel very welcome and that nothing is too much trouble.
It was really very unusual and unexpected place for staying and exploring Bath. We found ourselves in the atmosphere of the 19th century with all the needed comfort of our days.
We got the greatest pleasure of having breakfasts in the beautiful garden being surrounded by magic view and Greg's hospitality and sense of humor.
My wife loved the decor in the Sophia room. We felt very welcome, safe and at ease. The location is fantastic for both visiting Bath and day trips south and beyond. The host is most charming and makes a terrific breakfast. Parking is simple and most convenient. We look forward to another stay at the Orangery.
Very nice owners, we stayed in the Queen Charlotte suite which was fantastic! very clean, very fine decorations, huge king size bed, so comfortable, lovely place, very relaxing. All the rooms are very bright, the garden is splendid.
Amazing stay, we wish we could have stayed a few more nights!.
We liked everything about it! Perfect hosts: very friendly, funny and helpful. Just what you're looking for if you're on a holiday break! This is definitely worth the money and we'd stay there again next time! Thank you so much für having us for 2 days, Denise and Greg - it was fun!.

Having to leave!.
Bedroom decor was to my taste but a bit cramped in space, especially for a longer stay.
On arrival, the street setting did not reflect the calm and beauty we expected but once through the door all was well and better than expected!.
The fact that we only stayed for 1 night!!.
Seagulls.
After three nights I felt a little claustrophobic in our room. I would like to try one of the others.
