The experience from entry to leaving was excellent, one of the best country hotels in the UK, staff friendly, service excellent, a place of peace and calm, even through the 90 mph gales. - The service was friendly but not overbearing, the room luxurious and the food excellent with a lovely view of the ocean and a golfcourse.

Great location and very helpful staff. Breakfast choice and quality excellent and view from dining room superb. Excellent value for money. Room was very quiet. Gym and swimming pool excellent. I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. As we had to leave next morning to catch an early ferry, the staff went out

I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to
sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the
staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to
the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort
and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.

Fantastic Value for money. The rooms were huge and so was the bed. All modern fittings with speakers in bathrooms. Breakfast was exellent with a wide choice and all the staff seemed to genuinly enjoy their jobs which rubbed off on the atmosphere. I will deffinatly return! -

This must b one of the best B and B's I have every stayed at and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The owners where very helpful and the rooms are completed to a very high standard. - My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. host very friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and clean and well decorated.

Both my Husband and myself really enjoyed our stay at The Burnside Guest House. What a lovely welcome we received, and were given every piece of information we needed to enjoy our time there. Even my Gluten intolerance was catered for. Just wish we did not have to dash off early next morning. -

The room is bright and clean. Although we had an external bathroom,
there were no complaints at all because the bathroom was really huge.

is very homely and tastefully decorated. The much ravelled about eggs
benedict is really awesome, a good selection of cerals and fruits too.

This cute b&b by the sea was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful, nice and welcoming, and the location was perfect to be able to walk to the train station and the sea.
Breakfast was incredible. Waking up to the smell of a perfectly cooked Scottish breakfast was amazing.
