The location of the Amazon Petite Palace was fabulous; a short walk to the Isabey Mosque and very close to the St. John Church as well. The owners were very accomodating, attentive, helpful and friendly--true Turkish hospitality in this lovely country. As for the lodging, the room was very spacious, comfortable with internet that worked consistently. The restroom was a decent size with an enclosed shower (I say this because some places have showers that are integrated into the restroom and .

Nice, helpful and very accommodating staff, very close to St. John's Basilica and Isa Bey Mosque, as well as the old town. The hotel works together with a travel agency that can organize transfers and trips. We used it for a transfer from Izmir airport and were very happy with the nice Mercedes van they sent! They even organized children's car seats at our request! Now that's what I call service. Finally, alt. We arrived quite late but the owner had waited up for us and gave us a warm welcome. The location is excellent, easy to find and near the sights in the city - as well as easy to reach Ephesus. Street was quiet at night and parking was available. There is a small corner market less than 20 yds away and a bar/grill half a block up the street. Room was nice, A/C, TV, lovely bathroom although the shower was a bit small in size, the shower head and water pressure were excellent. Breakfast in th. Friendly and attentive and good-hearted owner and staff - we really enjoyed our time with them. They dropped us off at Ephesus and the train station when we left. Late check out was no problem at all (it is the off-season), and offered to us. Had some interesting and very enjoyable conversations with them - their English is good. Good vibe here. The included breakfast is good, though doesn't vary from day to day. The walls are thick (though the door isn't and you can hear people out on the terr. This little gem had a boutique feel and was within walking distance (a few kilometers) from Ephesus. It had a cute small pool right outside our door. Breakfast was substantial for fueling up for a day of sight-seeing. The staff was great! They even dropped us off at the train station for our trip back to Izmir. This place is well located and within walking distance of the train station. Great value!. The hotel is quite boutique. Only 9 rooms makes it cosy, yet enough room to have your own space. The staff were wonderful - they helped me arrange my bus travel to the next destination and drove me to the Upper Gate of Ephesus. All at no charge. The meal I had from the hotel was better than the meal from the restaurant down the road. The first stop for the trip.. a fresh start by Amazon... the owners and cousins are really nice and patient there... pick up, send us, contact the agency and the bus company, contact the owner of our next stay.. all by the nice owners... and also very handsome :) The room is new, well equipped and clean. Very clean and lovely. Emre (owner) was very helpful with travel and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast as great (fig molasses was delicious), even made fresh omelettes for us. Would definitely stay there again. Easy walk to the monastery and train station. Excellent hospitality. The small hotel was amazing. The owners were helpful and accommodating of our two small children. I highly recommend the family room. The kids had one room, we had an adjoining room, and then we shared a bath. It was perfect. There was a gap under the door allowing cold air and flies to come in -- but a rolled-up towel fixed the problem!. You could tell that the hotel is very new with a few "rough" edges. Our shower head was a bit wobbly and there weren't enough hooks or racks for hanging up towels or coats. Also, 2 light bulbs needed replacing in our room, which went unnoticed by staff. Nothing, it was all really wonderful. Simple breakfast, it can be improved. - Small bathroom - Overpriced for what the Hotel really is. The shower head was not well fixed . And suggested to add some hooks in the toilet for hanging the clothes. Nothing. The hot water in the shower never really got hot. no yoghurt in breakfast buffet. 1. Relatively unreasonable price: It was a home like pension in a countryside like area, with a small room size (about 150', superior room) but the price it charged was comparable to a 3 to 4 stars hotel. 2. Poor soundproof: The rooms are separated with thin doors and walls only, one can hear what the other people say in another room clearly. 3. Little privacy: The window of my room was facing the dinning area directly, but the curtain was thin with gaps. The room was a bit cramped due to the irregular shape which made getting around the bed awkward. A bit expensive for the standard. Hard pillows.
