Location - The hotel was very close to the Sultanahmet tourist area, with some gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants right next door.
The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities.
The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

The location is the winner at Arasta Hotel, it couldn't be better, right in the heart of the main attractions, awakening to the call to prayer right at the back of the Blue Mosque what could be better than that experience. Location is just perfect - 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia.
Nice breakfast at the terrace - though the terrace is in another hotel (5 min walk) which was weird.
Rooms are okay - middle level but clean.
Very helpful staff though speaking hardly any language apart from Turkish)) (in our building)

Although we had reserved the Appart Hotel Hippodrome we were lodged at the Hippodrome Hotel. We found the hotel very good, extremelly well located, and with a very good quality- price ratio in november.

The location is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful with information, they have a supermarket just near the hotel. The beds are very comfortable, coffee is good and upon request, they provide shuttle service to the airport. It is very near to the attractions such as blue mosque & haghia sophia.You can keep going to blue mosque easily, especially fajr prayer. Such a nice feeling finishing fajr prayer there. A halal restaurant is near. The staffs are good. U get free transfer if stay for certain period.

Excellent location in the old town, close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.
Very friendly staff at the reception. Good Turkish breakfast served on the top floor with great views. In brief, you just feel like you are at home in this hotel.
Rooms were small but it was enough.

The hotel is really wonderful! At first I want to say about furniture and style of the room.Everything is white and golden, sometimes it feels like you are somewhere in the palace.

I found the room very spacious and once the regular maid returned, it was stocked and immaculate (she'd just had a baby). I only stayed two nights.

Seatanbul is a great place to stay! The rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned each day with fresh towels. It's safe, in a great quiet location only a 5 minute walk from Aya Sofia. Breakfast is served to the room. The rooms also have great views and balconies to enjoy the Marmara Sea.

Istanbul is an amazing city and staying here is the perfect place to base yourself. -
Great location and excellent staff. We were offered a drink on arrival and sat with the owner one night after dinner and were treated to Turkish coffee and tea which was a nice little touch.
The staff were all very accommodating as you would expect for a small family run hotel/bnb. The breakfast was pleasant and consisted of tea/coffee a few cheeses, cereal and boiled eggs.
We had a lovely time staying at Seatanbul apart and would definitely recommend it to our friends.

The location is great. The hotel owners are very friendly. They give you a briefing on the main sights. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. I especially appreciate the private airport transfer service at 35 lira, which is about 5 more than a taxi. But many taxi drivers may not find this place. Taxi drivers in Istanbul are also not very

So I highly recommend using the service (a big van!) when arriving in Istanbul. - The owners were amazing, taking the time to explain the history of Istanbul and lay out an itinerary for us on our tight schedule! The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram stop and it takes roughly an hour to get to from the Ataturk Airport. My fiance and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is an amazing value and right near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.
