hill with a great view over Chaweng up until Bophut. So one has both:
the relaxation of a remote location and the proximity to all the hustle
and bustle of Chaweng and Lamai (if one wants it). -

We found grand Thai very comfortable, with very pleasant staff. The pool
was just outside our door, and the beach maybe 100m away, so the main
things that might attract people such as us were close at hand. We had

Everything! So close to the beach, small but refreshing pool. The staff are lovely and the rooms are serviced every day. 2 minute walk to main street and yet the hotel was nice and peaceful. Shower was fine and ample hot water. This is not a 5 star hotel but we loved it and will definitely return.

The whole atmosphere @ Buddy!! I'm planning to return to Koh Samui
as I fell in love with the place & Buddy Oriental. The food was of
supurb quality and quantity; I take my hat off to the head chef Gina who
works tirelessly to ensure all runs smoothly & is an excellent cook.

I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly.
the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers.
The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.

This was my second time here and it was nice to be remembered by the friendly and courteous staff who were always available. This is a family run hotel and it shows - everybody is keen to give good service but in a laid-back Thai style -

The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. From the time we walked into the lobby were we greeted by the a friendly staff. The four days we were there the staff was always available to answer our questions. Things about the island, spa, food, excursions and the hotel.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful and went out of their way to
ensure your comfort and convenience. The restaurant was happy to
accommodate special dietary requirements. Location was very convenient
as the hotel is directly on the beach, and set back from the main road

It was nice & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of the main town so I could relax without anyone bothering me.

The hotel was really worth the money. Situated directly at a very nice and calm beach in a hotel area, you can really enjoy your holidays. The rooms were clean as well as the common areas and the pool. The restaurant offers good food. Moreover it's not far to the town, 15mins walk along the beach brings you to the night market, the shopping area, restaurants and bars. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

The location ( we stayed at the mountain villa ). The view was breathtaking from our villa called the ''topmost''. Lots of stairs to climb in order to reach it but the view makes it all worth while. Plus the staff helps you with the luggage.
Very nice staff. Very easy to interract the owner by email ( in order to clarify any questions). Clean rooms, quiet surroundings. Very nice infinity pool with an amazing view. ( just like in the pics on letsbookhotel.com)
