I had a fantastic time at Rich Lanna House. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they were always ready to answer my questions and give me advice. The free bicycles are great, I used one every day to go to wandering around Chiang Mai and to the Night Bazaar. Breakfast was great. The room was really comfortable. The Coffee House is lovely, great coffee and cakes. Location is very central and easy to reach all the sights from here. Plenty of eateries nearby. Next time I'm in Chiang Mai I will d.

We came to Chiang Mai a few days early and booked this hotel by chance. We planned to go to the hotel we prebooked after the days we would spend at the Rich Lanna, but cancelled the prebooked hotel and continue to stay here. It made our visit to Chiang Mai perfect!. We like the classic Thai style throughout the hotel. Breakfast area was very pleasant on a veranda and breakfast itself offered something for all tastes. Even though this hotel is small, the owner has taken great care of detail and the finish throughout. We will definitely book this hotel for any future stay in Chiang Mai. Great price/value deal! The always friendly and helpful staff makes staying here feel like an authentic and familiar experience, while mantaining a really good service! The location was excellent, with multiple tourist offices nearby and the city centre within walking distance! Everything was great I would recommend this hotel to everybody who's going to visit Chiang Mai. internet was not available took a long time for ac to cool the room , we were on the 4th floor OK for us to walk the stairs, but be aware no elevator. The breakfast was a slight minus, buffet style. breakfast...was poor... One word of warning, if you like quite rooms I don't suggest staying on the bottom floor. I stayed in one of the deluxe rooms on the ground floor and found it hard to sleep in due to the noise of staff wandering around preparing for the day. Not so close to city centre. It is a little bit far from downtown and the name of the hotel may sound unfamiliar to some taxi drivers, so it is advisable to have the receptionist write down the name and address of the hotel in both English and Thai, so the drive get the clear idea where to go.
