The staff were very friendly and helpful. The young man on reception was exceptionally so. The room was spacious with a very large comfortable bed, and the large bathroom was always well stocked with shampoo, body wash, and even sanitary disposal bags (first time I've seen that!). The pool was blissful and lovely to come back to at the end of the day. I can't fault this place at all, and it certainly was excellent value for money. If I ever go back to Chiang Mai, I will be staying at Chiang M.
όλα τα σχόλια » We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights on a trip to Chiang Mai. The hotel was simply wonderful. The room was of a good size, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. The pool was perfect for a morning swim or after a long day exploring the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was set and so did get a little samey after 8 days but it was always fresh and tasty. Overall, a superb hotel and would definitely visit again in the future. Top marks!. Location to old town with plenty to see and access to lots of bar's and restaurants. 15 min's walk to the night market and more club type bar's.Very quiet road at night for peaceful sleep. Easy to find, good location at edge of old city Guest laundry area, & somewhere to hang clothes to dry Very clean, comfortable room, slept soundly Allowed us to check in early. There were only three sun-loungers around the pool! Some smaller deck chairs would have made better use of the limited space there and given more guests the option to use it. Also no pool towels were provided. The bedroom had very limited hanging space for clothes or bath towels. A couple of hooks in the bathroom and bedroom would make all the difference. Front of house staff could have been much more cheerful & welcoming than they were, in comparison to cleaning/housekeeping staff All rooms overlooked courtyard & pool area, sounds/conversations from other loud guests sitting in that area echoed upwards and were annoyingly clear to hear at times. Quite noisy - the sound of the air conditioner drowns out some of the sound but traffic can be heard clearly. No variety of breakfst. A bit noisy. The fridge made a noise at random times, woke us up a couple of times during the night. Nothing comes to mind. Need more pillows. We had to change room as soon as we arrived as it was smelling pee... then we was moved for the third floor for a very noise room (it seems there was a water pump over our heads), not talking about the annoying rooster that screamed everyday at 5:30. Reception comes through as unprofessional, spending 15 minutes to print out a receipt, accepting credit card only for room and cash only for trips and use of minibar. When leaving after a week the staff insisted that I would pay the full amount once more and did not even apologize when it became clear she had made an error. Very small "pool". The street might be noisy sometimes. The safe was not working and was playing a strange sound during the whole night. Awfull staff, we lost a shirt and asked if they found it, the staff replied grumpy and wasn't prepared to help. Room smelled like fish. A noisy water pump over our third floor room.when we request for change room and talk to the manager ,the front desk staff said "can't change we are already full and don't have our manager phone". Confusion over whether booking was for twin or double room. letsbookhotel.com's advice to property could be clearer. The service and front of house staff attitudes were appauling. The manager was very rude to both customers and his staff. I suppose he didn't have time for much else between watching movies on the front desk computer and being sarcastic to his staff. Room too dark (no windows) Room too small Shower not working, going cold and hot continuously No choice for breakfast I wouldn't stay again. staff not friendly at all.
