Located right opposite Hua Lamphong Train Station, @ Hua Lamphong Hostel provides easy access to the popular Silom and Sukhumvit areas. It has a restaurant and free Wi-Fi in the entire hostel. @ Hua Lamphong (At Hua Lamphong) is a 15-minute drive from Siam Paragon Shopping Centre and Central World. It takes 1 hour by car from the hostel to Suvarnabhumi Airport, while Patpong’s vibrant nightlife is a 10-minute MTR ride away. Rooms are simple, featuring tiled flooring and a charming, colourful décor. They all have air conditioning. Some rooms have an en suite bathroom and amenities. Guests can make use of the luggage storage facilities provided at the 24-hour front desk. The hostel also provides an airport shuttle service on request. The restaurant has an international menu. It also serves Thai specialities.

Clean and nice budget hotel right next to the train station. I would stay here again if I where taking the train the next day, only a 5 min walk to the station (you can walk underground in the metro tunnel instead of crossing the busy road). It is also right in front of the metro stop so very convenient. It is about 1km from the river where you can take the River Express boat to the Buddha temples etc and Khao San Rd. We did that. Very nice experience with the boat. Rooms are basic but clean. G.
όλα τα σχόλια » Friendly, tall reception lady went out of her way on various occasions to help us, because of this our trip to Thailand was made easier & more enjoyable, so thank you very much! The service level in the restaraunt was always friendly, and professional. Food was fantastic & well priced. Location is excellent, right next to subway, which is also very easy to use, stops are in Thai & English, it's cheap & runs 6am-12am daily. Hua Lamphong station also across the road. Standard twin. Super convenient to two things we cared about: the train station and Chinatown. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the beds comfortable. Easy walking from the hotel, plenty of cabs and tuk tuks if we didn't want to walk. Great street food carts close to the hotel, and the Chinatown night carts on yaowarat rd. were something to experience. The cafe downstairs made an amazing lemongrass tea, I wish we could find it everywhere. Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to railway station and 1 minutes walk to MTR and bus stop. 7-11 and FamilyMart are nearby. Room is clean. Receptionist is friendly and helpful. The WIFI is good. For the early morning train to Cambodia, you cannot get a better location for ease if access and a good price. Staff went out there way to get us our room early well before the official check in time having only arrived after a long flight earlier. We were in too floor and although lift slow, it worked! Wifi worked a treat which these days is very important. I stayed for 8 nights with my husband. The location of Hua Lamphong hostel is very strategic. We can easily go to every place by MRT,train, buses and taxi. The escalator and elevator to MRT and train station are in the front of hostel's door which really help me facing my knee problem. Ideal if you are catching the train as it's opposite the train station. Clean, functional and cheap. Good airport pick up service. They also booked our train and ferry tickets to Koh Samui for a very small fee and we picked them up on arrival. Good breakfast for a small fee. Location is perfect, across the road from train stations and Chinatown. It's a good base to explore from, not far from downtown Bangkok. The room is clean and all the basics are there, the coffee shop downstairs has good coffee and food. Excellent location, just in front of the MRT and 5 minutes from the train station. I stayed here one night to take the (free!) bus #29 from the train station to Don Muang airport for a 10 am flight. Very convenient!. Very clean and quiet despite being only metres from the central rail station. Very nice food but expensive. Comfortable room, efficient booking in and checking out. Location- perfect if you would like to travel by train. We spent here one night only, leaving the hostel at 5 am. Internet available, room well equipped. Near Railway Station. It could be very helpful if one takes train (E.G.early in the morning). Nice choice of city and around bkk tours. Staff tidied our room every morning, even hung my towel on the hanger. Dorm was bright n comfortable, but e aircon was very weak. Very close to railway station, which is the reason we were staying. Room condition is good and clean, worth the pricing. We needed somewhere to sleep after we arrived in Bangkok before heading to Siem Reap the next morning on an early train. @Hua Lamphong is across the road from the train station and was extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend it for that purpose. Also close and an easy walk into China Town and Yaowarat Road which was fun to spend the afternoon and evening exploring. We booked this hotel just because it is close to the Hua Lamphone railway station, and definitely it is. Due to the bad whether and delay of flight, we did not have a chance to sleep there actually. Nevertheless, the staff there are kind and booked us the train tickets to Chiangmai and the bus tickets back to Bangkok. Great location if you need the train. It's a walk across the street. Room was clean. Restaurant on the premises. I requested airport pickup along with them getting my train ticket and everything went well. Tours are offered and a tour book is left in the room for viewing. Staff was helpful. does what it needs to do: provides a clean and cheap place to sleep right in front of the train station, in order to catch early trains. room above expectations, comfortable, clean and providing all we needed. The staff did not carry your bags up to your room. The area is not the best to be in if you stay for a few days, but it is simply meters away from metro and close to station, so what more do you want?. Did feel like we were putting them out by being there!. Would've been nice to have some coffee in the room. Need to pay a deposit to borrow the aircon remote control in the common room. My partner commented its location not ideal but then the mrt is at its doorstep. 1.The superior room is a little bit small compared to the others at the same price. As a result, there is not enough space for a bed-side table and a buit-in sink. lift STILL out of order. Nothing I think of. However, if you have trouble in climbing stairs, then you should reconsider. noise from the street, little expensive. It's fine if you use it as a transit hotel, very good for its position just in front of the train station. Would not recommended for a long staying in bkk. free wiki was slow and difficult to connect(i stay at 4th floor). No credit card facilities. very small room, too tiny for a family of three adults. No cable channels. Bed was hard. reception staff absolutelty unpleasant. noisy when facing the main road. Room is a bit small, but it's ok to stay short time. No elevator. Room on fifth floor. Area around hotel dead after 22:00 - no resturant,not walking distance from anything. The lift didn't work and the room was on the third floor and nobody asked us if we need some help with luggages. A little bit noisy. For the same price, there are other hotels in Sathon that are larger rooms, have breakfast included, and the hotel has a pool. The price really should be less. They need more English channels on the TV, and better AC units. It was on 17, but really was 26 C. Rooms were very basic... Would have moved earlier if we hadn't booked up for 5 nights. The staff were "matter of fact" - no apparent personality. My room was on the 4th floor which meant my luggage had to be carried up the stairs. The room was bereft of any character - no batteries in the tv remote. Definitely not worth the money I paid for the night. The surrounding area was dirty with garbage lying on the footpath - rats running around. Noise from the hallway, poor isolation in the door of the room, the little ants in the bathroom, no wardrobe in room. Room is too small and narrow, but fine for transferring. Staff not fit in English. Only cash payment in advance possible, no breakfast, hot place, no view. The staff were unhelpful and not particularly welcoming. When the wifi was not working I was told to go and switch the router on and off myself. Our room was on the 5th floor and we were not offered help with our luggage or warned that there was no lift. The sign for the restaurant was left out but when we inquired into food we were told the kitchen was shut. Very loud at night, other guests shouting and roaming the corridors all night. This wouldn't normally have bothered us but we were staying here in order to get a very early train. - staff not particularly friendly - you have to pay to use the computers - no real windows in the room - rooms where not as nice as shown on pictures.
