Position was good, staff and room too. Our room was a little too noisy because nearby we had the owner's apartament. In general walls were thin but considering the extreme cheapness of the hotel it was ok. -

Excellent excellent value! The Cuban man running the place is very friendly and helpful, interesting to talk to in general if you can speak some Spanish. Room for three persons has no free space at all, but there is refrigerator.

The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!
